Panga Express is a discount private charter out of Isle of Hope Marina that offers educational/instructional catch-and-release tours. Panga Express charges by the hour with no minimum time limit and no fees for additional guests.

Our boat is a Panga to reduce operating costs so that means reduced expense but reduced space and no creature comforts like back rests or cup holders. Check out our pictures to be sure this is the boat for you. Panga Express is Caribbean style chartering in Savannah.

Learn how to spin or fly fish the low country inshore rivers and sounds for a discount before graduating to a hired fishing gun to fill the cooler!

Dock Fishing

4 Hour Trip – Catch & Release on October 9, 2025

Despite unfavorable weather conditions and not being able to get some boat time on the water, Capt. Sean still made it a memorable experience; all from the dock!!!! Our boy caught 2 fish and quickly became the highlight of our Savannah trip for him! Although the rest of us did not catch anything, we had some worthy bite action! Capt Sean had great energy, was super knowledgeable and engaging for our kiddos. Heck, even us parents learned a ton! Book your next family adventure with Panga Express, you won’t be disappointed!!!!!

Great morning on the water!

4 Hour Trip – Catch & Release on July 28, 2025 • 1 adult • 1 child

My 12 yr old son and I booked a 4 hr catch-and-release trip on the Panga Express, and it was the perfect experience for my son's birthday. As newcomers to fishing in the Savannah area, we really appreciated how patient and informative Captain Sean was. Despite the July heat, we still caught redfish, trout, flounder, ladyfish, and more. Sean took the time to explain the gear, techniques, and why we were fishing certain spots, which made the trip both fun and educational. The description is accurate, as this is a no-frills boat, but this awesome Panga allowed us to navigate some skinny areas easily where other boats would likely struggle, the music playlist was on point, and we had a blast from start to finish. I highly recommend this charter for anyone wanting to learn the local waters with a knowledgeable and friendly captain!

We had an amazing time on this fishing charter! Captain Sean was incredibly knowledgeable—not only about fishing, but also about the Savannah area, which made the trip even more interesting. He was super friendly, patient, and made the experience fun and educational. The boat and equipment were great, and everything was really well organized. We especially appreciated that he came prepared with water to drink on such a hot day—great attention to detail! Perfect fishing charter

My wife, daughter and I had an amazing trip with Sean. We only did an hour trip and Sean made sure we caught fish. He was very knowledgeable and made us feel right at home on the boat. He really took the time to not only get us on fish but also to show us what to do since we are new to saltwater fishing. 10 out of 10 will recommend him to everyone.

Sean was incredibly accommodating from start to finish, making planning a surprise birthday trip effortless and even being flexible enough to reschedule when our first outing got rained out. He came prepared with absolutely everything you could imagine—right down to fresh live bait—so all I had to do was show up and enjoy! Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned angler, he has something to teach you, and I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a fun, memorable fishing experience!!
