Panga Express is a discount private charter out of Isle of Hope Marina that offers educational/instructional catch-and-release tours. Panga Express charges by the hour with no minimum time limit and no fees for additional guests.
Our boat is a Panga to reduce operating costs so that means reduced expense but reduced space and no creature comforts like back rests or cup holders. Check out our pictures to be sure this is the boat for you. Panga Express is Caribbean style chartering in Savannah.

what a great experience and memory we made! Captain was very knowledgeable! We could tell he enjoys being a fishing guide ( and related to ocean) !!!
First of all, it was very safe boat trip.
The weather was beautiful but water was cold, so we weren’t able to catch the fish within one hour. However our kids felt fish biting, learned how to fish/how to use fishing rod, and enjoyed the experience so much!!!! They were not sad or complained at all! Captain made tons of efforts so kids could catch fish, was SO patient with my 3 kids who had no idea how to fish, and spent 90min with us. Kids want to do it again and I would say this was our highlight of the winter break! thank you so much!!

Dock Fishing
4 Hour Trip – Catch & Release on October 9, 2025
Despite unfavorable weather conditions and not being able to get some boat time on the water, Capt. Sean still made it a memorable experience; all from the dock!!!! Our boy caught 2 fish and quickly became the highlight of our Savannah trip for him! Although the rest of us did not catch anything, we had some worthy bite action! Capt Sean had great energy, was super knowledgeable and engaging for our kiddos. Heck, even us parents learned a ton! My 12 yr old son and I booked a 4 hr catch-and-release trip on the Panga Express, and it was the perfect experience for my son's birthday. As newcomers to fishing in the Savannah area, we really appreciated how patient and informative Captain Sean was. Despite the July heat, we still caught redfish, trout, flounder, ladyfish, and more. Sean took the time to explain the gear, techniques, and why we were fishing certain spots, which made the trip both fun and educational.
The description is accurate, as this is a no-frills boat, but this awesome Panga allowed us to navigate some skinny areas easily where other boats would likely struggle, the music playlist was on point, and we had a blast from start to finish.
I highly recommend this charter for anyone wanting to learn the local waters with a knowledgeable and friendly captain!

what a great experience and memory we made! Captain was very knowledgeable! We could tell he enjoys being a fishing guide ( and related to ocean) !!!
First of all, it was very safe boat trip.
The weather was beautiful but water was cold, so we weren’t able to catch the fish within one hour. However our kids felt fish biting, learned how to fish/how to use fishing rod, and enjoyed the experience so much!!!! They were not sad or complained at all! Captain made tons of efforts so kids could catch fish, was SO patient with my 3 kids who had no idea how to fish, and spent 90min with us. Kids want to do it again and I would say this was our highlight of the winter break! thank you so much!!

Dock Fishing
4 Hour Trip – Catch & Release on October 9, 2025
Despite unfavorable weather conditions and not being able to get some boat time on the water, Capt. Sean still made it a memorable experience; all from the dock!!!! Our boy caught 2 fish and quickly became the highlight of our Savannah trip for him! Although the rest of us did not catch anything, we had some worthy bite action! Capt Sean had great energy, was super knowledgeable and engaging for our kiddos. Heck, even us parents learned a ton! My 12 yr old son and I booked a 4 hr catch-and-release trip on the Panga Express, and it was the perfect experience for my son's birthday. As newcomers to fishing in the Savannah area, we really appreciated how patient and informative Captain Sean was. Despite the July heat, we still caught redfish, trout, flounder, ladyfish, and more. Sean took the time to explain the gear, techniques, and why we were fishing certain spots, which made the trip both fun and educational.
The description is accurate, as this is a no-frills boat, but this awesome Panga allowed us to navigate some skinny areas easily where other boats would likely struggle, the music playlist was on point, and we had a blast from start to finish.
I highly recommend this charter for anyone wanting to learn the local waters with a knowledgeable and friendly captain!

Captain Sean and his boat get 5 stars! They were excellent! I had a great time fishing in memory of my dad. Catching and releasing fish made the experience that much better because the fish got a second chance to live. Also, Captain Sean was knowledgeable and pointed out historic places in the community.
