Depending on the season, you might hook into Jack Crevalle, Pompano, Cobia, Goliath Grouper, Bull Shark, Sheepshead, Lane Snapper, Snook, Spanish Mackerel, Mangrove Snapper, Spotted Seatrout, Tarpon, and plenty more. On the day of your trip you're likely to drift a large grass flat with light tackle or fish some artificial reefs and spot lock in place with my trolling motor in Sarasota bay with heavier tackle and dont forget about the mangrove shorline fishing.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Child-sized life vest is provided if your kid is under 6 years old. Adult life vest and first aid are always onboard.Also remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You'll step aboard a 18' Hydra-Sport center console with capacity for 2 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live shrimp is always provided plus what ever the captain can catch, from sardines to pinfish and many other bait fish before the trip starts.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Don't forget to bring polarized sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Bottled water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation of course.

Booked a 4 hour trip for my dad(73) and i(27m) and had a really good time. Captain Jose did an exceptional job. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable Jose was about Fish, fishing, and general boating and being a captain. Jose is a true EXPERT. he did a good job with my older dad. we both felt like we learned a lot which my dad liked a lot. another thing i liked was that Jose actually cared and LOVES fishing. he was as excited if not more excited for us when we caught a fish. All in all we caught about 20 fish spanning 4 species. quick story behind the picture - after a slower morning jose moved us to a different spot and changed our fishing method from popping to bottom fishing. right after me and my dad were both hooked up at the same time. then both lines snapped… we all looked at eachother shocked.. Jose was more devastated than i was even though it was my line that snapped.. with in seconds he tied us both a thicker leader and got us back in the water. within a minute my reel was screaming! that snook pulled my drag for 20-30 seconds. we got that fish in the boat and about 5 minutes later my dad caught his biggest of the day as well. i dont think we would have landed either of those fish if Jose didnt make those adjustments
My 15-year-old son and I booked a morning charter with Captain Jose on Sarasota Bay. It was an unusually cold mid-winter day, so we weren't sure what to expect, but we ended up catching five or six fish each over the four hours, having a great time in the process. Jose was excellent. He explained different techniques as we went, knew where to move us when the fish weren't biting, and kept things interesting with good conversation and stories. He connected well with my son, which I appreciated, and it was clear he genuinely wanted us to have a good day out there rather than just going through the motions. We would definitely recommend Always N Adventure to anyone looking for a fishing charter in the area.
Captain Jose was fantastic! We put lots of fish in the boat and had a blast. My girlfriend and I flew across the country to experience Florida fishing and Jose was able to deliver! His in-depth knowledge of the fishery was indispensable and he knew exactly where to go and what to throw. Very kind and experienced captain with more than fair prices. 10/10 will be returning to him on our next trip to Florida. - Ryan
My daughter and I had a great time fishing with Captain Jose. It was our first time inshore fishing and it was well worth it. We caught at least 7 different species using different fishing techniques. The captain was very accommodating, asking us a day before the trip if there was anything we wanted to target specifically. He is very knowledgeable about the area we were fishing and explained why fish would be where we fished and what species to expect. I would highly recommend Captain Jose!
Took the hubby for a fishing trip for his birthday. Capt Jose was great, even helped me out due to my limited physical capabilities. I definitely learned alot as I know nothing about it, but honestly, I enjoyed watching the two of them fish more than anything! Caught many reds but most were not big enough, but we did land the limit so that's dinner tonight! Thanks Capt Jose for your patience, kindness and knowledge, and for cleaning our catch. We will be back!
