There's a fish with your name on it in Waterford and Drifter Charters will help you catch it!
Striped Bass, Bluefish, Skipjack, Mahi Mahi, Flounder, Scup (Porgy), Black Seabass, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, and more can be found in these waters, depending on when you go. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using the appropriate size tackle.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You'll be welcome aboard a 30' MDI downeast that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We started out a little slow bottom fishing for sea bass but we did end up catching 1 chuncky keeper. After that it was nonstop Bluefish runs. Everytime we stopped at new location, we hooked up on 1-2 good size Bluefish with the biggest coming in at 35in and man do they put up great a fight💪🏼💪🏼 Captain Gerry and his first mate were awesome and we’ll definitely be booking again in the future 🤝💯

Captain Gerry made most of the tough choppy water conditions and strong winds to make our trip enjoyable and successful.
