The Captain of Kelly Marie Charter was attentive, showed extensive knowledge of the area, including fishing spots, and he is a person who provides great company on the boat. My husband and I booked this during our honeymoon, best decision! We reeled in black sea bass and striper. We kept two of each, the Captain provided excellent service. This was my first trip, I came in with little knowledge of what a charter entails, he was very supportive, informative, and had a goal to make this trip special for both my husband and I. We strongly recommend booking this charter with Captain Jason. We definitely will again!
Caught lots of great stripers. Captain put us right on the fish right away. We had 3 fish in the keeper slot. Captain Jason and Mate Jonah were terrific, obviously stoked about what they do and very knowledgeable. We were 5 guys and the Kelly Marie accommodated us nicely. He's been fishing forever but relatively new to the charter business but don't be scared, he knows his stuff! Thanks Jason and Jonah!
I have been fishing my entire life and enjoy it year round. As soon as the ice is off the local trophy lakes I troll for trout and salmon. Spring tautog, squidding, fluke fishing and trolling for stripers and blues are a great time. As soon as the blue fin tuna show up and the season opens I start giant fishing. Tautog fishing in the fall is hands-down my favorite thing to do but I have fished for giants all over New England and have landed at least 50 fish.
