The fish in lake Lanier include Striped Bass, Spotted Bass, Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Walleye, Catfish. During the trip you might be spin casting live bait, trolling, drifting, vertical fishing or jigging.
Trips with Logan are kid-friendly and easy going instruction. Well start them off easy or atleast well try. Go ahead and bring the some family along! We have child sized life vest aboard. If you have some that you use you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks and preffered beverages with small cooler. Extra ice if you want to keep some catches.
Your adventure begins aboard a 24' Scout center console that holds up to 5 passengers. Rigged and ready for whatever our day might bring. A massive 61gal fish box aboard to fish all of the days catches. 40 gal filtered baitwell running live oxygen. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Top of the line Penn, Shimano Rods, reels, and tackle are provided. Premium live bait is included & artificial lures are included. We are rigged with professional Lowrance sonar equipment helping us locate and staying on top the fish.
You will need to get a local Georgia fishing license before the trip.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Cold bottled water are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid large amounts of liquor as well as glass bottles.

We had an absolutely incredible experience on this fishing charter! From start to finish, Captain Logan was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He made sure everyone felt comfortable, whether you were a beginner or experienced angler. The boat was clean and well-equipped, and the captain knew exactly where to go—we were catching fish in no time! What really stood out was how attentive and patient the captain was, always ready to help and share tips to improve our chances. Not only did we have great success fishing, but the overall atmosphere was fun and relaxed. It truly made for a memorable day on the water. Highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a great fishing adventure. We’ll definitely be back!

Logan is a passionate angler and guide. He is a North Georgia native raised along the banks of the Chestatee River and Lake Lanier. Guiding and fishing is in his blood. As a second-generation fishing guide, practically raised in a center console skiff, Logan has a legacy rooted in the outdoors & sport fishing, thanks to his father, Dale Sheets. Dale was a true pioneer & innovator in catching these elusive, hard-fighting fish. Dale started guiding folks on Lanier in the early 90s and Logan puts into practice everything his father taught him. Logan has risen up, aspired to follow in his father's footsteps and continuously works on perfecting his craft. Logan has fishing knowledge from around the country, from catching trout in high Sierra lakes at 12,000 ft. to jumping tarpon in the spectacular Florida Keys. When he is not chasing fresh water big game, he directs his focus Early/late fall as a big game guide & packer across the American West. From acting quickly & effectively when the drag starts burning to trying new techniques when things slow down, he is determined to make sure you're successful on the water. You can expect the utmost professionalism from Logan. His excitement is contagious. He has plenty of patience with new and young anglers and gives easy to understand explanations of our techniques and gear.
