- Logan is a passionate angler and guide. He is a North Georgia native raised along the banks of the Chestatee River and Lake Lanier. Guiding and fishing is in his blood. As a second-generation fishing guide, practically raised in a center console skiff, Logan has a legacy rooted in the outdoors & sport fishing, thanks to his father, Dale Sheets. Dale was a true pioneer & innovator in catching these elusive, hard-fighting fish. Dale started guiding folks on Lanier in the early 90s and Logan puts into practice everything his father taught him. Logan has risen up, aspired to follow in his father’s footsteps and continuously works on perfecting his craft. Logan has fishing knowledge from around the country, from catching trout in high Sierra lakes at 12,000 ft. to jumping tarpon in the spectacular Florida Keys. When he is not chasing fresh water big game, he directs his focus Early/late fall as a big game guide & packer across the American West. From acting quickly & effectively when the drag starts burning to trying new techniques when things slow down, he is determined to make sure you’re successful on the water. You can expect the utmost professionalism from Logan. His excitement is contagious. He has plenty of patience with new and young anglers and gives easy to understand explanations of our techniques and gear.
