Charter Boat Al-Lin
Charter Boat 'Al-Lin' is part of a family-owned and operated company headed by Captain Harold Staples. This experienced captain has been fishing Destin's waters for well over 40 years and is always happy to impart his wealth of knowledge to his guests.
While the Al-Lin is a family-oriented boat, people from all stages of their lives have come aboard for a memorable fishing trip. Newlyweds celebrating their honeymoon, visitors from all over the United States, and people from other countries visiting the US on their vacation have all made up the charter company's satisfied clientele.
The Al-Lin was custom built by the Staples family in the late 1980s and has been lovingly maintained ever since. At 44' long, she is a very spacious 6-pack vessel that features an enclosed flybridge and plenty of seating. The large deck provides ample fishing space, and the enclosed restroom is much appreciated by family groups.
The boat is fully fitted out with electronics, including a GPS, Fishfinder, VHF radio and radar, and she also features both outriggers and downriggers for the best trolling experience.
Capt. Harry will guide you through the best local techniques for trolling and bottom fishing, taking you to the best fishing grounds given the conditions on the day. Depending on the trip, you could troll close to shore for King and Spanish Mackerel, bottom fish for Snapper and Grouper, or travel further out in search of game fish such as Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, and Wahoo.
Regardless of which option you go for, the experienced crew will make sure that your fishing trip is a fun experience, as it should be! Once you return to shore the deckhand will clean your catch for you so you can take some tasty fillets home with you at the end of the day.
Get on board Charter Boat Al-Lin, explore the prolific fisheries out of Destin, and have an unforgettable adventure!

In Destin for a family reunion.....was able to talk a few cityslickers from Chicago(my wifes folks) into going fishing......i was the only one with any kind of experience, so i opted for the 4 hour a.m. in case they didn't enjoy it. once it was over they raved about how much fun they had, wanting to go again on the next reunion but for a longer charter. Captain and his two deck hands Dominique and Bryce were awesome at helping out the inexperienced crowd. Both were very knowledgeable about the fish and the area. i would highly recommend this charter Al-Lin to anyone who wants a great experience!!!
This trip was the first time for most of us. 5 adults and 1 child. Dominic, the deck hand, did a fantastic job making sure everyone got fish and kept the lines going. Did a 5 hour in the am. Caught bait on the way out, then vermilion and red snapper, trigger fish, bonito, red grouper and a sucker fish.
The family and I had a blast catching a large variety of fish; red snapper, lane snapper, spanish mackerel, northern markerel, and bonito! Captain Harold and his crew were all hands on deck the whole time especially Dominic, he was on it. definitely recommend for families or anyone who’s looking to catch fish. We will be using them again when we come back.
I’ve been out with captain Herold before and he’s a great captain along with his crew. There is a solid history here. You will find a very professional, hard working crew. Him and his crew pride themselves with helping you catch some good fish along with having a great time. This is the captain and crew you want.

Captain Harold and Firstmate Dominic were top notch. waters started pretty rough and were concerned for safety and as the waters calmed a little and we got our sea legs they took us to some great deep spots. We caught 6 variety of fish some were catch and release and some were keepers. great first experience for my kids and I!
My father was a fisherman and built his own boats with each one getting larger . He built them starting in New Orleans, Louisiana and then Biloxi, Mississippi. I helped him build the last several boats. They were all charter boats. I started fishing with my father from an early age which was before I became a teenager. I love fishing and my children have their own charter boats now also. OCTOBER RODEO IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER! EXCITING FUN SO BOOK YOUR TRIP SOON!
