Charter Boat ‘Al-Lin’ is part of a family-owned and operated company headed by Captain Harold Staples. This experienced captain has been fishing Destin’s waters for well over 40 years and is always happy to impart his wealth of knowledge to his guests.
While the Al-Lin is a family-oriented boat, people from all stages of their lives have come aboard for a memorable fishing trip. Newlyweds celebrating their honeymoon, visitors from all over the United States, and people from other countries visiting the US on their vacation have all made up the charter company’s satisfied clientele.
The Al-Lin was custom built by the Staples family in the late 1980s and has been lovingly maintained ever since. At 44’ long, she is a very spacious 6-pack vessel that features an enclosed flybridge and plenty of seating. The large deck provides ample fishing space, and the enclosed restroom is much appreciated by family groups.
The boat is fully fitted out with electronics, including a GPS, Fishfinder, VHF radio and radar, and she also features both outriggers and downriggers for the best trolling experience.
Capt. Harry will guide you through the best local techniques for trolling and bottom fishing, taking you to the best fishing grounds given the conditions on the day. Depending on the trip, you could troll close to shore for King and Spanish Mackerel, bottom fish for Snapper and Grouper, or travel further out in search of game fish such as Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, and Wahoo.
Regardless of which option you go for, the experienced crew will make sure that your fishing trip is a fun experience, as it should be! Once you return to shore the deckhand will clean your catch for you so you can take some tasty fillets home with you at the end of the day.
Get on board Charter Boat Al-Lin, explore the prolific fisheries out of Destin, and have an unforgettable adventure!
