These waters are known for Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Silver Perch, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Walleye, and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few! On these trips, you can expect to jig using light tackle.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You're welcome to bring snacks and drinks to maintain your energy throughout the trip! We have a place to store a cooler.
Your day begins aboard a 25' Crest pontoon boat with room for 8 passengers. It comes with downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. Kids 12 & under aren't required to purchase a license.
It's recommended to bring sunblock, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is not allowed.

My family and I had a great time with Weston on his pontoon boat on Deer Creek Reservoir. We chose the mid-day fishing time. The bite was slow but we were still able to catch several really good sized trout. I would recommend, as the Capt did, going on the earlier trip for a more active bite. After an hour or so of fishing we jumped in the lake to cool off. It was refreshing. Weston cleaned and filleted our catch. We cooked it for dinner at our cabin. It was delicious. Weston has the perfect personality to be a fishing guide. He's calm, friendly, communicates well, and knows how to get you on fish.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
