Bounty Hunter II – Little Compton RI Dock
There's a fish with your name on it in Little Compton and Bounty Hunter Charters will help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Eric & his crew knows them forwards and back.
Around here the fishing is popular for Striped Bass, Bluefish, Flounder, Haddock, Atlantic Mackerel, Scup (Porgy), Black Seabass, Thresher Shark, Squid, Tautog, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, and more, depending on when you go. For most of these species, you're likely bottom fish or cast.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You'll be dropping lines from a 55' Headboat that can carry up to 18 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Eric has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It's customary to tip the Mate 18–20% to show your appreciation.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

captain and crew were excellent host, very personable, were there to assist family members whom fished for the first time.. thank you gents we are definitely a returning customer.
Took my son out on Bounty Hunter II for his birthday and he had a blast! Caught 28 fish in alll and some nice keepers. Crew was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful - they made sure he had a special experience. Before we.gor.back to shore my son and I had already agreed that this should be a birthday tradition - cant wait for next year!

We had the absolute best time on our halfday trip! We caught tons of seabass and scup. Another guy on our trip scored a huge fluke! I’m a beginner and both Captain Josh and his deckhand Tommy were incredibly patient, kind, helpful and super fun. We will definitely book again.
Captain and crew were extremely friendly and helpful. They seemed more excited than the guests when fish were caught! Will definitely be booking with them again. Caught quite a bit of fish but only 2 black bass and a 22 inch fluke were keepers
A successful party (10ppl). We caught a minimum of 5 fish each
It's fair to say Captain Eric has spent all his life on boats, almost. As a young child, he started fishing from his playpen on his father's boat, and he started working as a mate at the age of 14, using a skiff to commute to work. He later earned a degree from Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts, and then became a deck officer in the U.S. Merchant Marines. He has expanded from the original Bounty Hunter a 31 ft 6 pack boat to a fleet of boats including two USCG inspected vessels which he runs Ultra Limited Load Trips on. In addition the fleet has a few 6 passenger boats for private charters. Although he has expanded, he still upholds the HIGHEST level of customer service by himself and his crew in the region.
