Blue Sea Sportfishing 

My boyfriend and I had an amazing fishing trip with Captain Cesar! We told him we were hoping to catch a game fish or a larger billfish, and he made it happen, we landed a beautiful striped marlin! Captain Cesar was very experienced, patient, and clearly knew the waters around Cabo extremely well. Fishing for bigger fish can take some patience, but he kept working to put us in the right spot and it was definitely worth the wait. Even though he was running the boat by himself, we felt like we were in great hands the entire time. We had such a great experience and will definitely be back. We’re hoping to come again around November or December since Cesar mentioned that’s an even better time for fishing. Highly recommend!

knowing that my friend and I are avid fishermen he selected Cesar his most experienced captain to take us out for a half day trip. My friend that is a captain had always wanted to catch a Rooster fish. In less than 30 minutes he had a big rooster on a light tackle rod. He caught 2 more. I caught a Jack and a bull dorado that we ate at Chachita restaurant next to the dock. The service was excellent and very friendly, with constant excellent communication before the trip. Johnny’s the best! Always available to answer any questions and provide great advice. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Best panga trip ever!

We caught 2 decent size Mahi Mahi in ~3 hours! We booked a 5 hour trip while sea condition is little rough for my kid so we decided to return earlier. Johnny and Nacho are super helpful before and after the trip. Captain Cesar and are very experienced fishmen! They changed tactics several times during the trip to try their best to catch fishes. They took care of us very well. After taking care of our goals in ~3 hrs, we decided to come back to the dock to wrapping up the great trip! Good people! Highly recommend! Thanks.

Today I did the morning fishing trip and it was a blast. Johnny was waiting for me and we set out on our trip at the perfect time. The trip was smooth, fun and an overall success. We caught 2 mahi mahi within 30 minutes!! It was unreal. We spent the rest of the trip trying to catch other species and ended up catching a huge needle fish. No complaints at all and Johnny really made this a memorable experience. He is a hardworker and always made sure he was doing his best to hook us onto some fish. Strongly recommended! I’ll be back no doubt.

Johnny is a fantasic captain! He is very kind, communicates well and is very knowledgeable of the ocean, fish and surounding areas! Its not the best time of year for fishing as the water is still cool but we told him what we were looking for and he took us right to where they would be. We saw a big marlin and tried to hook it but ended up with a nice mahi mahi! Johnny helped us to get the fish in and keep everything as clean as possible! 10/10 experience, would absolutely reccomend and do it again!

Johnny was a great captain! I was there 15 minutes early and he was there to greet me and we were able to depart early. We caught one mahi and Johnny let me know of a restaurant that can filet and cook the fish for me. We fished the entire time and Johnny was proactive and changed lures if we didnt get bites. He has been in the area a long time and knows where the fish live! I will definitely be back again and highly recommend Johnny!

My son and I had a great day with Johnny. While the weather didn't cooperate and cut the original trip short, Johnny did everything he could to adjust accordingly and make sure we could still go. He was great with the communication before the trip, reaching out to us proactively to provide updates on the weather. We had an incredible morning and caught about 12 fish including a rooster fish. Johnny is very knowledgeable and knows the right spots. When we started the morning we were the only boat in the area and when we left there were about a dozen boats in our area. I would absolutely book another trip with Johnny again.

My husband and I went out this morning with Johnny, our captain, on a 22' panga. We were both hoping for something big and knew it would take time. Johnny was super positive and strategic with his course based on what we asked for. We got one Marlin bite/jump after we hooked it but it got away. So is fishing! lol Tried again but when we decided to troll back inland, we got something on the line. Amazing, dual effort by myself and husband! It was a beautiful Mahi Mahi! We were satisfied with that but Johnny knew we wanted to try for a Rooster fish. No luck but still amazing! Even saw a humpback whale breaching! Just an absolute delight! Highly recommend Johnny!

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Johnny and his fishing charter. Communication was outstanding from the start! Johnny proactively reached out before our trip to let us know the weather was going to be too windy to fish safely. Instead of canceling and leaving us stranded, he went above and beyond to make alternate accommodations so we could still get out on the water and have an amazing experience. Thanks to his flexibility, knowledge, and determination to give us the best trip possible, we ended up catching a striped marlin, which is a true bucket-list fish for me. It was an unforgettable moment and something I’ll remember for the rest of my life. Johnny genuinely cares about his clients and their experience, and it shows in every detail! I can’t recommend this charter highly enough and would book with Johnny again without hesitation.

This was my first trip to Cabo. I really wanted to go fishing so I found this booking site with a lot of offers. At first it was just me going so I looked for a charter that was well priced and where I could get a full fishing experience. I'm experienced with small boats s the panga met my expectations fully, and when my wife decided to join me, it still felt roomy and comfortable for both of us. I was hoping for a good skipper and Captain Johnny turned out to be superb. He has a great, easy going personality and we caught fish when other charters weren't doing so well, so he knows his styff. We had great interaction in every aspect of our outing which made the day very special, even for my wife who got to see whales, great views of the coast, and even play a nice wahoo. we caught four varieties of fish including a large Mahi Mahi bull which took about 20-25 minutes to get in the boat. The whole adventure couldn't have gone better and made for an unforgettable outing for my wife and me. I highly recommend Captain Johnny and his boat.
