What an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience! This was hands down the best fishing trip I've ever been on. I caught the biggest fish of my life—a 200-pound monster marlin —and it's a memory I'll never forget. The captain and crew were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They were knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and worked hard to make sure everyone had an unforgettable time. Their experience and dedication made all the difference. If you're looking for an exciting fishing adventure, I highly recommend booking with them. Whether you're an experienced angler or it's your first trip, you won't be disappointed. I can't wait to come back!

Hey Anthony! Thank you so much for the kind review! I am so glad you had an amazing time! And talk about a catch of a lifetime! So few people can say they have caught a 200 pound Marlin! Congrats brother!

Great and clear communication. Great mate and captain, both hardworking. Great boat and equipment. I did a half-day trip. I wanted to catch marlin, but we settled with a beautiful Dorado (Mahi Mahi) fish, well over 30lbs. Such a fun fight! The coordinator Johnny was fast at answering all of my questions. I asked about getting a license online, which saved us time and allowed us to leave a few minutes early. It does take about 20-30 mins to get out to fishing waters. Before that, we stopped for picking up live and frozen bait for $30 cash, which I had asked about ahead of time. Then about half way into the trip, the mate changed out the lewers and that's when we got the hit! Just trust the process! About an hour later, one of the frozen baits was hit but not hooked, and thats when we saw her. A huge marlin! Sadly she did not want to bight for anything... just one of those days, but the captain and crew tried hard! I gave the captain a couple of cold ones to keep up the motivation. Once back, the mate and dock folks brought my fish up to the local cleaner, La Filetera, who charged a $15 cleaning fee and then a $3+ fee per pound, which wasn't as economical as Griselda's Smokehouse, but Griselda's was on the opposite side of the marina. Next time I would ask if I could get dropped off there instead, since Griselda can also smoke your fish. I will say that La Filetera was able to accomodating a quick fillet, vacuum seal and flash freeze. I was able to pickup my fish later that night! The boat had a toilet and a lower seating area in the shade. It has two fighting chairs and the crew used 5 poles in at a time on average. Overall I highly recommend this crew and boat! Happy Fishing @made.u.luke

Hi Luke, sorry for taking so long to reply, but this month has been a little crazy. Thank you so much for sharing the day with us! We had a blast. If only we could have hooked into that Marlin, but sometimes those old warriors just aren't in the mood to bite. So glad you had a good time! Look us up the next time you are in Cabo!
Although we didn’t catch any fish the captain and crew were trying their best. Nine miles out and located a school of dolphins and birds and tuna below on the sonar and circled the area and changed tactics but tuna just wouldn’t cooperate. However, the dolphins jumping around close to the boat at least made up for not catching any fish. Oh well that’s fishing. In my years of fishing, the day before a rainstorm, the fish shut down, always. The next day it rained cats and dogs. Impossible to plan for the weather like that when you’re planning months ahead. We’ll just have to try it again!

Thank you for the kind review and for spending the day with us Nelson. We are sorry that things did not come together. We always try our best to get our clients on fish, but some days the fish just don't want to cooperate, and unfortunately this was just one of those days. Come back again and we will get you on some fish!
My son and I caught mahi mahi until we hit our limit. The last and biggest one was attacked by a 6 foot shark but we got the fish in undamaged because of the quick action of the crew who had a live bait fish hooked up and ready to go. They tossed it out right in front of the shark and we caught it as well. Finished the day with a nice striped Marlin. The seas were still pretty big from Hurricane Marie. We went out the first day after the port opened but never had any concerns because the boat was handled so expertly. Thank you Mystic Marlin for an amazing day!

Another amazing trip with Cesar on the Mystic Marlin!! And to top it off we also had the pleasure of his Son as first mate. After our trip last year with Cesar, we made sure to request him again and we were not disappointed! This crew are true fishermen through and through. No electronics needed, just experience. And they put us on the fish...again! It was amazing to watch Cesar and his Son work as a team to chase the bait and set the hook. I cannot say enough good things about them. Even when we showed our inexperience with landing large game, he was right there with kindness guiding us through the whole process to get the catch to the boat. Never missed a smile or a positive word, even when we'd miss the fish due to our mistakes. If you want the true experience of a lifetime, book these guys! Trust me, you'll have many stories to share once you're back. And for a bonus tip, bring breakfast tacos and drinks for the captain and crew. You're generosity will be returned ten times over :)

James, thank you so much for the kind review! And thank you for fishing with us. We had a blast with you guys. And talk about an amazing trip, that marlin is a trophy and will give you memories to last a lifetime! Come back with us anytime, we will be looking forward to it!
