Welcome aboard! We're a friendly, locally owned Cape Town fishing charter and boat excursion service dedicated to providing a good, honest, fun experience on the water.
We provide close-to-shore, mostly reef fishing trips, ideal for families, social groups, or anyone just looking to have some fun on the water.
Our fishing excursions are less about the catch and more about creating lasting memories. Our laid-back, no-pressure fishing experiences are designed for those who want to experience the thrill of boat fishing and enjoy the beauty of the ocean and the breathtaking views of Table Mountain and the Cape Peninsula coastline.
Our trips are safe and relaxed—ideal for beginners or seasoned fishermen. We provide all the equipment you need, so all you have to do is bring your good vibes and a sense of adventure, and we'll take care of the rest.
Cape Town waters are known for Amberjack, Cape Barracuda, Black Seabream, Skipjack, Black Bream, Common Bream, and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few!
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks!
Your day begins aboard a 21' Inflatable outboard that can carry up to 7 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Rods, reels and lures are included with a selection of 3 different types of bait.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor

Free cancellation up to 3 days prior to trip
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Pickup agreed upon reservation
Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.
How you can pay
Book with 10% deposit, pay rest to captain
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
