D.C. Outdoor Adventures – Inwood 21'
Spend the day with D.C. Outdoor Adventures and let them show you what makes the fishing in Inwood so memorable! With Captain Dennis at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Striped Bass, Bluefish, Tautog, and more can be found in these waters if you cast your line at the right time of year. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Dennis also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
You'll step aboard a 30' Duckwater that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has downriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Dennis has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with D.C. Outdoor Adventures!
