Chicago has a fish with your name on it, so let Confusion Charters – Chicago help you catch it! With Captain Bob at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
These waters are known for Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Lake Trout, and more - with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some.
You'll target your catch by light tackle fishing, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don't forget to bring snacks! Alcohol is permitted but we do not allow beer bottles (Cans Only). No drugs allowed.
Your day begins aboard a 38' Sportfishing with room for 6 passengers. It has downriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.
Capt. Bob will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
The charter boat has fishing licenses available at extra cost, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid beer bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with Confusion Charters – Chicago!

'I have run charter boats on Lake Michigan and the Gulf of Mexico for over 40 years.' Captain Bob Poteshman has been working on other boats since even before that. His knowledge of the water and this area is huge. One of his preferred fishing styles is both anchored and drift bottom fishing. He runs a clean boat that has a comfortable pilot house.
