First charter and first time ocean/salt water fishing for myself, my wife and our 3 young children. What a blast!  Dan and Tom were amazing. Thank you Captain Dan and Mate Connor! We celebrated my husband’s 50th on the Salt Shaker and had a blast! Half day trip Memorial Day weekend with a great memory to look back on. My son and I had the best day on the Salt Shaker. Captain Dan put us on the fish as soon as we left the slip. First mate Tom could not have been more helpful with his fishing knowledge. Capt. Dan and First Mate Conner were the best. Capt. Dan certainly knows what he is doing, he has been a captain for over 25 years. The first spot we went to was not biting so he moved us to a new spot and holy cow did we catch a ton of fish. We caught both Bluefish and Striped Bass and they were all big, nothing under 28 inches. 6 of us went out for a 1/2 day(7a-12N) with Captain Dan and Connor. Boat was beautiful and quite comfortable. Weather was PERFECT! The Captain could not have been nicer and answered all of our question… we had so many!!!He worked hard to find the fish.
