A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

It's recommended to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own.
