Goin Coastal Fishing Charters runs amazing trips out of Sooke, BC, fishing the stunning clear waters of the Strait of San Juan de Fuca among the world-renowned beauty of Vancouver Island. This is an area which needs no introduction, with some of the most pristine nature and best fishing found anywhere on the west coast.
The vessel you will be fishing aboard is 24 ft NorthWest Aluminum fishing boat with room aboard for 6 anglers. Iconic of the area, this hardy and stable vessel is the perfect place to be for some amazing cold water fishing. She comes equipped with GPS, fishfinder, downriggers, and everything you will need for your day on the water, as well as a head for extra comfort and convenience.
Goin Coastal Fishing Charters specializes in Salmon and Halibut fishing and provides and choice of light and heavy tackle, with a mix of jigging and downrigger trolling to bring in the very best fish. Captain Tory Howe is as local as they come, and has spent his entire life fishing the nearby waters. He knows all the best spots and will always have a trick up his sleeve to make sure you go away with not just delicious fish, but fantastic memories which you will treasure for the rest of your life!

Amazing trip
Tory was our captain! We had an amazing fishing trip! Our captain was fantastic—friendly, down-to-earth, and clearly very experienced. He made the trip truly memorable! Not only we caught plenty of salmon and crabs, and he gave clear advice on what we could keep or should release, but also we witnessed feeding a bald eagle, passing by a pod of orcas. Highly recommend this experience!

Great day on the water!
Perfect day out on the water with Tory! He’s a super friendly and knowledgeable guide who put us on the fish and worked hard to ensure we all had a memorable experience. His boat and gear were all top notch, and communication was quick and professional. 10/10 experience - would highly recommend booking with him, I know we will when we’re back next time!

We really enjoyed our afternoon of fishing with our knowledgeable and personable Captain Tory. We appreciated the way he included us in the different parts of the fishing experience, always willing to explain the details along the way.
