Malolo Fisher Sports - Koicalevu offers fishing packages out of Nadi, Fiji. Whether you're looking for a half day of fun while trolling, or cherish a full day of game fishing, you're where you should be. The crew is seasoned and have catered to many repeat customers.

Malolo Fisher Sports is fit to weather these waters. Captain Moses has been in the business for many years, and knows the local waters like the back of his hand. He will take you on his 30' Ramco hard top boat. The vessel is powered by twin 150 HP Yamaha, and can reach the speeds of up to 35 knots. It's regularly services and equipped to get hold of the local fish.

The boat can take up to six people, and has a toilet, a fighting chair, an ice box, and stores life jackets. You can also borrow snorkeling gear for a minimal deposit, the full refund will be provided upon its safe return.

Productive fisheries lie an hour away. There, most of the time, you can get the likes of Giant Trevally, Red Emperor, Grouper, and even Sailfish, Black Marlin, and Yellowfin Tuna. You can go around the reefs and try taking Grouper and Red Emperor from the bottom. GTs really like poppers, but you need to be fast with your bait. Jigging is a fun option all the time, especially if you want a more demanding challenge.

The crew will provide the fishing rods, reels, tackle, and will take care of the fishing license. They use Pakula, Zacatacks, Halco, and Rapala lures, as well as the best of Penn, Shimano, and Tiagra tackle. You will have water onboard, and an esky with ice.

When it comes to packing, bring along a cap, sunnies, sunscreen, and an extra layer of clothes in case it gets wet. You should wear something comfortable so that you can readily join the action. If you've prepared food and drinks, then another thing to bring is a camera. You will definitely want to take a cool shot of your catch.

Old boat and basic equipment
6 Hour Afternoon on April 28, 20263 adults
Firstly we would like to say we are well aware that a charter does not guarantee catching fish!! From the moment we boarded the boat our heart sank. The boat was basic, old and certainly not what the advertising photos portrayed. When the motors started they sounded like they would break down at any second. They had minimal lures, poor looking fishing gear and no bait, dead or alive. No sounders or fish finders on board, a gps navigator and eyes looking for birds was what was used to locate anything. 3 or 4 groups of birds were spotted, we saw tuna breaching but were never close enough to catch anything. Overall a very expensive bird watching ocean cruise. The best part of the day was the beautiful sunset.

A four hour morning fishing trip.
Half Day Trip (AM) on April 23, 20243 adults1 child
We met with Captain John and his son when we boarded, the made us feel comfortable and safe from the start. The first hour we had five rods rigged with lures and trolled for bonito, being unsuccessful we then used lighter rods with Half pound sinkers and bonito for bait. We fished on the bottom around reefs and Immediately caught Snapper, Bream, Parrot Fish. Captain John helped my youngest grandson aged 10 who finished with a bag of four fish. Overall it was a most enjoyable mornings fishing and my son and grandsons disembarked very happy with the trip. I would recommend John and his son to Make a fishing trip with them a good one.
