We had a fantastic time, got to go hunting for GT's, trolling for Spanish mackerel and bottom fishing where we got sweet lips, coronation trout and snapper. Overall great experience couldn't recommend more. Bob and Sam were fantastic. They were able to accomodate a new pickup destination for us which was helpful.

Thanks for the great review! We are thrilled you had an awesome time out on the water with Captain Bob and Sam. Our crew loves delivering a memorable experience, and your feedback means a lot to us. We hope to welcome you back on board again soon!
Captain Sam and his tow boys were awesome. In the 4 hours we were booking we have managed to catch 8 big fish. My first GT. I can book him on any day for a fishing for charter.

Thank you for your feedback about your fishing.
Great day, got picked up from our jetty. Great bunch of people to spend the day with. Would highly recommend it 😊

Thank you for giving us the opportunity. We hope to see you next time.
captain was an hour late. left his deck hand and me sitting on the boat. nothing was prepped has to sit on the boat whilst they re filled eith fuel and tried to prepare the boat. captain was clearly intoxicated or under the influence of drugs. Could barely make out a word he was saying. even the fuel attendant said he was either drunk or high. crew got rods tangled multiple times, couldnt work out how to start the duel outboards properly leaving us sitting in the water in rough swell. all of the gear was old and worn. the bildge pump melted causing smoke to come up through the lower cabin. after this the nost leaned to one side the enitrw trip home. absolute was of money. also did not get onto any fish to top it off.

Bula Tom, Thank you for your feedback. However, some details need to be clarified for the record. Yes, a delayed departure was requested for refueling, and you approved and accepted the delay in return for a case of beer. Additional shopping was also done to prepare your freshly caught fish to be cooked on charcoal instantly onboard a promise by your skipper. The estimated time of departure (ETD) was 9:00am. The boat completed refueling at 9:30am, and the Marine Office authorized the Captain’s logbook for a safe departure at 9:45am. Before departure, your safety and comfort were discussed, including the possibility of choppy sea conditions, and you approved proceeding after speaking directly with the captain. You specifically requested GT fishing (casting poppers), mahi-mahi fishing, and trolling for pelagic species. Bottom fishing was also offered as a backup option in case the sport fishing did not produce results. About 20 minutes into the trip, you hooked a good fish while trolling, but it spat the hook. Maintaining constant line tension was essential in that situation. We place our trust in our captain, who assisted and guided you through more than 25 casts in hopes of landing a big GT despite the challenging conditions. The crew trolled 7 to 9 rods at a time, both with and without outriggers, targeting different species in various locations. Teasers (fish-attracting devices) were also used to create the appearance of a school of baitfish swimming behind the boat. I was informed that your lines became tangled at one point due to floating seaweed in strong currents, which you witnessed yourself. The issue was resolved in less than 10 minutes, which is a possibility when fishing in such conditions. It takes a professional fishing master and a certified skipper to safely guide and assist guests under these conditions—not a fuel attendant who was on his first day of work. I believe the captain has taken today off due to painful mouth ulcers, yet despite that, he still did his best to accommodate your constant changes in requests while the crew worked hard to play music to meet your expectations. Later, you hooked a mahi-mahi that jumped and spat the hook. You then hooked a massive GT and fought it for at least 25 minutes using light tackle. Landing a fish of that size requires excellent coordination between both the captain and the angler. In this case, the fish won. Was that a gear failure, or was it simply part of the challenge of sport fishing? Still trying to make the trip successful for you, the crew anchored in the choppy conditions, which understandably took a few minutes. The captain set up a rod and baited your hook. Did you lose your bait? It appeared that your frustration over losing the GT prevented you from making another drop, and you instructed the crew to wrap up and head back. Earlier in the trip, an 18 lb barracuda was successfully caught and landed. Barracuda is generally not considered a desirable eating fish, otherwise it would have been quickly prepared, marinated, and grilled onboard for you. We would be more than happy to welcome and serve you again. However, making allegations that do not accurately reflect the crew’s efforts, professionalism, and your safe return, while leaving a 1.3-star rating, does not fairly represent the experience. Please do visit us again Tom and allow us to choose the best day in terms of fishing and weather for you .

We had three yellowfin tuna on our line. We were able to bring one in the captain and crew did fantastic job.

Thank you Mark for your feedback and appreciate that you had a wonderful time out fishing.
