Texas Coastal Adventures
Choose Texas Coastal Adventures and let Captain Scott Pierce take you wade fishing for Redfish and Speckled Trout. You can join him from spring until fall, targeting these fish when and where they’re biting the most!
Step aboard a 23’ Haynie powered by a 225 HP Mercury engine. With a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots, this vessel will carry you to the fishing grounds in no time.
Most days you will be hopping off of this boat and into the water, so be sure to bring proper wading attire! Capt. Scott provides all the gear you need from rods, reels, and tackle to lures. He can also come prepared with live bait for an additional fee.
With 30 years of fishing experience, Capt. Scott knows where and how to find the best bite on any given day. You’ll fish in the Matagorda Bay or Espirito Sanchos Bay, depending on where conditions are most ideal.
While wading in shallow waters, you’ll target Redfish and Speckled Trout on light tackle. You’re also likely to reel in Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, and Flounder from time to time. You can keep your catch and Capt. Scott will clean and fillet it for you.
Trips with Texas Coastal Adventures are available from March through August, and again during October. Your adventure will launch from Froggie’s Bait Dock. Capt. Scott can help you to arrange waterfront accommodations if desired.
Be sure to bring a Texas State fishing license with a saltwater stamp and your own waders. You are more than welcome to bring a lunch and drinks (please note that no alcohol is allowed on board).
Book your trip today and enjoy your very own Texas coastal adventure!
