Great day on the water with Capt Brett and 1st Mate Ethan!!
Full Day Inshore on July 17, 20256 adults

My adult kids and I had a great day on the water (full day inshore trip) with Brett and Ethan (7/17/25). They work well together and keep a professional yet relaxed vibe. Got into some striper right out of the gates- 2 keepers! Made a run out to Montauk point- striper were tight-lipped out there but the dogfish kept us busy. Wind picked up a bit so we went back toward Fisher's Island. The bottom fishing there was a little slower but, hey, still way better than being at work! The count as I remember: Striper-2 Bluefish-1 dogfish-3 Fluke- 2 Sea Robin-1

I started fishing at an early age, and started taking the sport seriously in my early 20's. Since then, I have spent all my free time on the water running my own boat, or fishing with others who enjoy the sport. I have spent considerable time studying and learning from established veteran fisherman on what techniques to use, and how to run a boat. I like to involve the crew if they like while on board, and I enjoy showing our clients how and why we use various methods to catch fish. We put an emphasis on making sure you will have a fun time while aboard our boat the 'Double Down'!
