He welcomes you aboard his 25’ Wellcraft center console powered by twin 115 HP Yamaha engines. The vessel was fully overhauled in 2016 so no need to worry about outdated amenities. Everything on the boat is up to date and top-notch – from marine electronics and safety gear to outriggers, a live bait tank, and an ice-box. The boat is also wheelchair accessible.
Hawaii Ocean Adventure Tours offers customizable fishing charters for groups of 1 to 6 people. It keeps its prices low so that no matter whether you are 2 or 6 people, you get the entire boat for about what you would pay for a shared charter.
You’ll get to reel in prestigious game pelagics such as Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Marlin, Tuna, and much more. Depending on the species you decide to focus on, you’ll get to try your hand at trolling, spinning, jigging, and popping.
You can also combine fishing with some snorkeling and the needed gear will be included in the price, along with all the tackle, bait, and lures. Fishing licenses and catch cleaning are also courtesy of the charter.

Marlin!!!
Half Day Trip (PM) on February 11, 2025
Captain Kelley was awesome!! We didn't get quantity however we were able to get a Marlin and release it and even saved the bait! Took a while with 3 person rotation on the reel. Thinking it was around 6 to 7' with beak. Also saw several pods od whales, some flying fish and a pair of white Hawaiian boobies! The flying kind 😇. Never thought I would have the opportunity to not ony catch such a beautiful fish but to also release it. Thank you so much from Jake, Jenni, Red, Matt and Ken! It was epic!

Snorkeling Trip on June 24, 2024
We truly had the absolute best time with our crew! Unfortunately I didn’t catch the captain or first mate’s names,(I’m REALLY bad with names!) only our safety diver’s (Anna), but they were so fun! Our 3 teens had the time of their lives, and the crew was a big part of that. They spent time chatting with and getting to know each of our kids, and made them all feel totally at home in both the boat and the water. Unfortunately we didn’t even get a bite during the fishing portion of our trip, even though the crew tried moving heaven and earth to make it happen, but it didn’t matter in the end. The memories made will last a lifetime!

What a day! Capt Ryan and his crew from the start of the day made us feel welcome and at home. I could not have asked for a better crew and fishing charter. Very personable, polite, accommodating and knowledgeable. Captain Ryan was always teaching us or showing us something along the way. We enjoyed every second of our trip! From the introduction and safety briefing to catching a mahi mahi right off the bat. Enjoying the boat ride around trolling. We even got to see some whales as well! The 16 year old and the baby got sea sick but they still had a great time! Captain Kelley was a great guide and a good sport with our unruly 4 year old bag of sass lol

Captain Casey is amazing

We had so much fun on our charter! Captain Casey took us to all the spots and helped us catch a tuna!! We also hooked a marlin which didn’t even know to hope for. My husband loves to fish so our trip also turned into a bit of a fishing lesson. Casey was so nice and we enjoyed our conversation while out on the water. I’ll recommend these guys to absolutely everyone

Captain Ryan has been working as a boat captain for over 10 years. His favorite thing about fishing, other than landing a dream fish for my clients, is hearing the real singing as a big fish makes its first run after being hooked. He got into fishing because my grandfather was a charter boat captain and he guesses it’s just ingrained in his genetics at this point. All of Ryan's captains are very knowledgeable and proficient in fishing Hawaii's waters.
