Fishing the shore in Seward can be hit or miss depending on the fishing gods. Snag fishing is a different type of fishing and needs some schools of fish for a large catch.

If it's a last minute trip, check to see how the silver salmon run is. If you booked your trip months in advance like most people do there isn't anything you can do about it, but there are plenty of other fish to catch.

This was my 1st time fishing in Seward and it was an awesome experience!! Captain Mike and DH Trey were great! They got along extremely well with everyone in our party. The location they took us to fish was very productive and the boat was solid. I would definitely go out with them again.

This trip does not have a boat. It is from the shore and uses a method called snagging. If you want to fish from a boat the traditional way, this is not it.

Always be prepared for weather changes. Realize this is a "fishing" charter, not a "catching" charter. Know the guides WANT you to catch fish and they are acutely aware that your experience in their office dictates future business so they want happy fished up customers. Be prepared, polite and fun and you will get that back in spades from them. If something isn't the way you want it, ask for a change and keep an open mind.

Cannot plan around the weather. We had rainy-windy day. Could not get out into the big water due to small craft advisory. We still caught our limit of halibut & salmon. Plus we landed a good mess of nice Pacific Cod & Rockfish.

Cold and a bit wet, and the biggest halibut aren’t in the area yet. But we got one that was over 100lbs, and plenty of rockfish and smaller halibut. Not very busy out there.

Our group of three caught at least one sockeye each. That, along with the Gabriel and Luis’s catch, was 18 pounds of fillets we will share with our friends! Thank you Captain Gabriel for an awesome day of fishing. We had a great time fishing alongside the eagles at beautiful Resurrection Bay!

Gab and his entire crew was so helpful. I needed help crossing the streams and they were very patient helping. I felt completely safe. They helped the grandkids fish and were wonderful with them. They were great and fun to visit with. Great experience. Would certainly recommend to everyone.

The crew were knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The trip out was beautiful with snow capped mountains on all sides for most of the ride. The crew had everything set when it was time to fish and patiently worked with anyone having trouble with the gear. We all caught several fish a piece and our 11 &12 year olds had a blast. Highly recommend these guys for a fun halibut cruise.

Captain Noah and Micah provided an awesome charter experience! If the fish weren’t biting Captain Noah moved on quickly. The views can’t be beat in Seward and Resurrection Bay. Micah was a fantastic deck hand, filleted our catch perfectly, and on a busy boat of 12 anglers no one was ever waiting on bait or help with their catch. We will be back and highly recommend this charter!

Almost every one caught a halibut, but me, that’s unfortunate, however I had enough enjoyment reeling rockfish and pacific cod. I would recommend. Next year taking my wife with those guys.

Gabe was great to work with. He was really responsive and friendly. The conditions were poor but he was good conversation and he tried to get us on some fish. He let my wife play with his dogs and tried to help her a lot with the technique. I'd recommend him to anyone visiting Seward and wanting to catch a salmon from the bank.

The fish were running thin but we were able to grab 3 nice size silvers and a king. Captain Keith was great. Super laid back. Nice to talk to and knew his stuff. Boat was nice and clean and he had hot coffee! Would highly recommend.
