San Diego Bay Pacific Barracuda Fishing Charters

Overnight trips are Capt. Nathan's favorite because they allow for his guests to really enjoy the experience of getting onboard in the evening and setting out to fish. The fact that you can go to sleep and wake up 40-60 miles offshore in the middle of a Tuna bite first thing in the morning makes for a memorable experience.

You will head up to 20 miles up and down the coast to target Yellowtail, Rockfish, Seabass, and Halibut, depending on the season. You’ll hunt the kelp paddies as well as the kelp beds outside of Point Loma to La Jolla. Continental breakfast, snacks and drinks are provided on every half day AM trip. You are welcome to supplement these with your own refreshments too. All of your fishing equipment and bait for the day are provided.

A 12-hour trip to the Coronado Islands targets Yellowtail, Bonito, Bass, Lingcod, Rockfish, Sheephead, Barracuda, and more. Enjoy scenic views as well as possible dolphin and whale sightings during the approximate hour and a half trip to and from the Islands. A passport is required for each passenger as well as a Mexican Fishing Day Permit (online $25 per angler), FMM Fishing Visa (online $43 per angler). A Bio Bracelet provided by the captain is included in the cost. Alcohol is allowed.

The trip departs at 6:30 a.m. and returns around 12:30 p.m. Spend the day fishing the scenic San Diego Coastline for Calico Bass, Barracuda, Yellowtail, Halibut, and Rockfish.

Fish the local flats and kelp beds for the possibility of Yellowtail, Bass, Bonito, Halibut, White Seabass, etc. Thresher Shark can be targeted in the spring. Please note: not all species are available at all times of the year. All fishing equipment is provided. We do not anticipate fuel surcharges this season; however, should they apply, it will be determined before your trip and you will be advised.

We can take 3 passengers. Live bait is additional. On this trip, we target inshore fish along the coast. Anything from Yellowtail to Sculpin is on the menu. Also can fish Rockfish in deep water using electric reels on the 9-mile bank. This trip can yield fantastic fishing and fill your freezer with tasty filets! Live bait, equipment, and simple tackle are included.

Point Loma to La Jolla. We’ll find anything that’s biting. Great introductory trip since we’ll be within 20 minutes of slip the whole time. Perfect for young anglers!
