Calvert County Striped Bass Fishing Charters

Full day trips are approximately 8 hours of fishing and includes fishing license, rod, reel, tackle, bait and or lures, fish filleting and packaging. All you need to bring is food and drinks. May 16- December 10 is this years fish season. Limits are set at 1 fish per person 19"-24".

This is a one angler and guide trip. Great opportunity to “tune up” your casting and fly-fishing skills. You will be the only one fishing and have the boat to yourself. We will be fishing our Hewes 21 Redfisher. It is equipped with Garmin electronics (Hummingbird side scan coming this spring), a 300HP Yamaha and a Motor Guide trolling motor. Rod holders…GOT THEM!!! Room for 8 fly rods plus tons of storage. Bring you own equipment or use all our latest ORVIS rods.

Everyone can join this half-day fishing adventure. Spend your morning trolling mainly around the bay, for such wonderful specimens like Catfish, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, and your Captain's specialty, Rockfish. Catch a few and have a great time doing it and be back by noon to tell everyone about it.

This is a full day on the water of hands-on light tackle and/or fly fishing. Be prepared to cover a lot of water and fish hard!

Get ready to hook some Striped Bass! This trip is perfect for a small group that wants to get out for a short trip. With one of the fastest charter boats on the bay, you will maximize your fishing time! This trip is suitable for anglers of all ages and abilities, and you'll be provided with rods, reels, bait, tackle, and a license. Beat the crowds by fishing during the week, flexible start times are available. Bring your favorite snacks and drinks! Rockfish open 5/16-7/15 and 8/1-12/10

This trip is for people that don’t want to pay for a full charter. You’ll be combined with a maximum of five Anglers. Exact times may change based on whether and bite.

During the summer rock fishing season, anglers may keep 1 fish per person with a minimum size of 19 inches. Bottom fishing for Spot and Perch and trolling for Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel may also happen during this season.

Join us April – May 2025 “down south" near Virginia Beach and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge tunnel for some EXCITING BULL REDFISH ACTION. Capt. Giovanni has been fishing the spring migration for years and has some great locations that these migrating fish LOVE. Want to catch a BULL RED on your fly rod…This is the shot!! Trip is 5+ hours Lots of sight fishing and we will be all over the electronics finding fish. We can also have some Giant bluefish and striped bass show up.

7am-noon trip. Don't be fooled by other charters pricing. Their price only covers the 1st 4 or 5 people in your group! Then they charge extra $ if you have more than 4. Our price includes up to 6 people in your group. On these trips, you will be targeting Rockfish (Striped Bass). This is an ideal time to get outdoors and enjoy a day of catching Rockfish! Fall is prime time for Striped Bass in our area. Fish cleaning included. Our cabin has hwat, plenty of seating and an enclosed bathroom!
