Sacramento River Striped Bass Fishing Charters

If you can think of nothing better than cruising down one of NorCal's famous rivers, this is the trip for you! depending on the season, which fish can be caught and where may differ, but target species could include Rainbow Trout, Salmon, Striped Bass, and Sturgeon. You'll be able to fish in one of 3 rivers: the Sacramento River, Feather River, or Yuba River. Capt. Pete will be in touch after you book to discuss these details with you. All your fishing gear is included, so just bring a license.

Stripers run out of Pacific Ocean into the Sacramento River to spawn each spring. This is an awesome time of year to get out on the water and battle with these hard fighting (good tasting) fish. We've boated Stripers up to 35.5 pounds and 44" long. Stripers reach 60 pounds in the Sacramento River. We target big fish! Launch points will be determined by where you will be able to catch fish. We will fish until we get limits or 5-6 hours if it takes that long. Great fishing for kids!

You bring fishing license for day, proper clothing, snacks and drinks. I provide all gear and bait. Fish are Processed and bagged, ready to take home. Dates available now unto mid May. . Striped bass are some of the hardest fighting and best tasting freshwater fish! A day of fishing for stripers is sure to be action packed and full of fish! We fish for stripers on the Sacramento or Feather river during April ans May. We use many different techniques depending on river conditions and fish behaviors.

This is a great trip for families in the morning when the waters are calmer. Depending on the time of year, you can catch Sturgeon, Rainbow Trout, Striped Bass, and King Salmon. If you wish to fly fish, please bring along your own equipment. For conventional fishing, rods and reels are provided. Please buy a fishing license for the trip.

Fish the Sacramento River in the morning for King Salmon, Sturgeon, Striped Bass, and Rainbow Trout – each fish has their own season, but there is always something to catch. The early hours of the morning can be the best time to take advantage of feeding fish! We will leave the dock early enough to ensure we can make it to the best spot before anyone else who may be headed there! We will fish for 8 hours or until we catch the limit of fish which is very normal!
