Louisiana Cobia Fishing Charters

This is not a sightseeing cruise! We're running hard out of Venice to hunt the Gulf's biggest, meanest fish: Swordfish, Tuna, Mahi, Snapper, and more. Expect screaming drags, bent rods, and chaos from the first hookup to the last. Fish on a 40' center console with tournament-grade gear. You bring the crew, I bring the mayhem. We will be fishing for inshore saltwater fish such as Speckled Trout, Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead and Flounder Please check with the captain if there is an extra fuel surcharge for offshore trips.

We will be fishing the Louisiana Gulf Coast. In the mornings, you get to see our marshes, which are estuaries for all kinds of life. We usually travel down the Mississippi River and back up in the afternoon. We catch bait in the morning using cast nets and Sabikis. We then venture out to our oil rigs and will use different fishing techniques for different times of the year. We mainly target Yellowfin Tuna but can target other species too. Fuel is not included and costs $600-$800 for this trip.

You and captain Eric will fish out of Venice Marina. You can target Yellowfin Tuna almost all year as well as Swordfish. You can catch Wahoo mainly in the colder months and Mahi Mahi in the summertime. Red Snapper is usually also available in the summer.

The INSHORE PACKAGE is for all types of anglers all year round. Whether a rookie or a professional, most people agree that inshore fishing is an excellent way to spend the day putting your skills to the test. We will leave the launch at daylight and spend the day chasing all types of inshore fish. From the tough fighting redfish to the lightning-fast speckled trout you are sure to have an exciting day on the water - book this package if you have 3 or fewer anglers in your group.

The red snapper are on fire! We offer red snapper trips out of Venice, Louisiana. These trips are seasonal, and also weather dependent. We fish these trips on calm days. You don't want to go offshore with bad weather. It's dangerous and not a lot of fun. These trips start at safe light. We will meet in Venice, LA just before daylight and leave as soon as the sun starts crack-a-lackin. These trips are a blast. *I have dropped prices for the month of August*

Our trips are unique because we have multiple decades of fishing charter knowledge to make sure we can always put togther an epic fishing charter experience. We only put 4 people max per vessel. If you have more than 4 people, we will reach out to you to book an additional boat.

A nearshore trip includes fishing for seasonal red snapper along natural bottoms or oil rigs along the Mississippi river delta. Dropping from anywhere between 40 and 200 feet for red snapper with possible mangroves and cobia. On the way in after getting our snapper redfishing and trout fishing is an option

You and the Captain will be fishing the marshes and coastal areas of Venice, Louisiana in search of a multitude of species from Trout and Redfish to Tripletail and sheepshead. You will leave the dock at safe light and return around 12-1 p.m. Live bait is an additional charge of $25.00 per person. All trips are plus fuel.
