Tofino Crab Fishing Charters

This 6-hour trip is the perfect excursion for more passionate anglers who want to spend plenty of time on the water! You'll head out early to hit the morning bite, with ample opportunity to target many different fish. Your captain will have you trolling for Salmon species (Chinook and Coho), jigging for Lingcod, and bottom fishing for Halibut. You can utilize your time to fish for the entirety of your trip, or you can mix it up with some local exploring! Rods, reels, lures, and tackle are included.

On a 5-hour trip, you'll have the chance to really hone your fishing skills against one particular fish. Let your captain know what you want to target, and he'll take you to the most productive fishing grounds, focusing on one fish's natural habitat. You decide what you want, so fill the boat with delicious Lingcod, Halibut, Rockfish, or Salmon. Guests of all ages are welcome and this short trip may just be what gets you and your kids hooked on fishing.

This 6 hour is our recommendation for winter fishing trips (Nov- Feb). Drop the crab traps before Embarking on an hour long cruise across to the protected waters of Barkley Sound. Journey down amongst The Broken Group Islands to the sheltered winter fishing grounds from Sechart Channel to Swale Rock. Set the Prawn traps and drop the lines for Chinook (King) Salmon. End the day by pulling the Prawn and Crab traps before we're harbour bound. *Start time flexible. License, gratuity, 5% GST not inc*

Experience both Salmon and Halibut fishing on our inner banks, along the coastline, or in Barkley Sound. Choose from a first-light or afternoon departure (subject to availability), where you'll get to experience the best of Salmon and Halibut fishing on the west coast of Vancouver Island!

This 6-hour trip gives us more time to play. If the weather allows, we can cruise offshore to target Halibut. When offshore, we can target multiple species at the same time, too, depending on what you want to do. Or we can stay inshore and target multiple species, including Prawns, if you would like. Prawning takes about an hour, so keep that in mind on what you want to do.

Six hours out on the water where you will be able to make it further and fish longer. A better chance for more fish and multiple species. Or, you can split it up if you like by fishing when the tides are best and spend the rest of the time checking out wildlife and seeing the sights. The departure times may vary.
