Capt. Will and Lou were the best! We were not sure what to expect when you go out fishing in mid-October however what happened was outstanding. we were a group of 6 and some had experience fishing in the Potomac River and the Chesapeake Bay and others not so much. What happened was non-stop fun, pulling in Bluefish and Strippers and even a Flounder! The boat felt safe, the crew worked hard, and the entire experience was fantastic! We are setting up another trip next Spring!

We booked a 4 hour trip for my 9 year old's birthday. None of us had any fishing experience and Captain Owen made it so easy for us to show up and have a great time. We all caught several fish, even our 5 year old! The boat was comfortable and safe - Captain was very attentive to making sure we were safe even in crazy dc holiday weekend traffic. Our kids can't wait to go again. I highly recommend Capital Blues!

If you are a bass fisherman and want some great guiding and great gear, this is the man for you. Ken explained the science behind the tides, weather, water conditions and how it relates to bass behavior and what bait we should throw. We caught 15 bass, and four of those were easily between four and five lbs. I will be a repeat customer for sure!
