Saint Petersburg Gag Grouper Fishing Charters

If you want to maximize your chance of getting fish on the boat, this is the trip for you. Spend a whole day on the water, getting acquainted with the Tampa Bay's diverse inshore waters. You'll be able to hunt the flats, as well as the open bays for a range of game fish like Snook, and even Tarpon (when in season), to delicious table fish, such as snapper, seasonal inshore grouper, spotted sea trout, seasonal king mackeral, among many more. Fishing mostly live bait.

Depending on the season, the captain and crew will give you a chance to chase American Red Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, Dolphin (Mahi), Red, Gag, and Scamp Grouper, Cobia, King Mackerel, Mangrove and Yellowtail Snapper, and Hogfish, along with the wide variety of other reef species. Six hours allow you to go for multiple species and really target the inshore gamefish such as Snook, Redfish, Trout, Tarpon, Sheepshead, and Jack.

Near shore trip up to 9 miles into the Gulf of Mexico. Multi-species including cobia,barracuda

First mate works for tips 15-20% customary and much appreciated! Deep sea fishing in style onboard Reel Lucky a 35 foot Cigarette go fast center console . The water has cooled off and the fish has moved closer to shore. On this trip, we fish 15 to 25 miles from shore and catch a variety of offshore species including assored grouper , snappers , Mackerel, Kingfish, Cobia , huge Goliath grouper and sharks are all possible .

6 hours could give you a little taste of all OR some - bottom fishing, reef fishing and fishing the flats & even backcountry on a good day.

This is a full day of fishing - requiring alot more fuel use to travel up to 30 miles offshore. With an enclosed toilet on board - makes this a great day for the entire family. Bring snacks - ice and water always provided. Large grouper, snapper, hogfish, amberjack and some really challenging ledge and wreck species are waiting for you to make some awesome memories. This is an 8 hour trip.

Spend a full 8 hours on the water You will spend 4 or 5 hours fishing and the remaining time will be snorkeling and exploring one of the many uninhabited islands in the tampa bay area. This 8 hour charter allows enough time for all of this in 1 day! Great fun for all ages!

During fall and winter, hog fishing within 9 miles of St. Pete Beach is outstanding. As cooler water temperatures set in, hogfish move into shallower waters to feed, providing anglers with increased opportunities and reduced travel time. Light winds during this season make for smooth outings, allowing for quick runs to the prime fishing spots. This is the perfect time to fill your cooler for a delicious fish fry, making the most of a great day on the water while enjoying the beautiful Gulf scenery.

The 3/4 Day trip gives us more time to travel between spots and target a larger variety of species. We can spend the morning targeting Trout/Redfish/Grouper and make a long run to switch our target to Tarpon and Snook. Contact me to discuss the oppurtunities!
