New Zealand Hapuka Fishing Charters

Hire the boat exclusively for a group of up to 8 people. These trips go out to Tuhua island and you'll be fishing in around 300 to 500 metres for Bass, Hapuku, Blue Nose, and more. It's a seasonal trip that can be fun for both experienced and novice fishermen. Bring your own gear (talk to us about tackle) or hire ours. Bring your food and drink for the day and chilly bins with ice for your fish.

This private trip is a great way to spend some quality time with your friends and family. Snapper bite well year round, and can grow super big, some even reach 15 kg. You can enjoy a afternoons fishing, then eat your catch at a restaurant that night. There is plenty of shade, so even minors will enjoy it. The boat is spacious, and up to 4 anglers can come. Bring a hat and sunblock and come.

Head out to the best reefs around in search of Tarakihi, Snapper, John Dory, Trevally, Pink Moamoa, and more! With the whole day on the water, you're bound to bring in something special. These trips do not include rods, reels, bait, or tackle. There is an additional fee of $50 per person for this.

White Island/Whakaari is our most popular trip by far! Spend a full day fishing the deepwater around one of New Zealand's Most active volcanoes. Target giant species ranging from Kingfish, Bass, Hapuku, and Bluenose. It is a fishing experience you will never forget! Note: Electric reels and rod hire at $50 per person are available on request. If you're not hiring our rods, please ensure your reels are set up for conditions at White Island. Bring your lunch, drinks, and appropriate clothing. Seasonal trip.

Fishing in the Tiritiri Island for Snapper, Kingfish, Kahawai, Gurnard, and many other species. There are enough rods and reels on board for 8 to fish at once. All rods and reels, baits and ice for the day are all included. We also offer BBQ and catering service with addtional charge.

A Game Fishing trip is a full day of fishing for pelagics (Tuna, Marlin, Mahi Mahi, and others that run the coast in the winter and summer seasons). All tackle and gear are provided at no extra cost. The trip can be arranged on the East/West coasts. Multiple days options are available, ask the captain for details.
