This standard package takes you on a six hour fishing trip. You will be fishing around Laguna Madre waters in search of Redfish, Snook, Black Drum, Crevalle, Trout, and Mangrove Snapper. Bring your own fishing license, pack snacks and drinks. The gear is supplied onboard. You will need a valid fishing license. The trip is suitable for kids as well, or less experienced anglers. Capt. Kevin knows these waters well and will show you how to get the fish you want.

This is a five hour offshore trip. The weather has to be nice. We need waves that are less than 2 feet. Michelle Port, X3 is very comfortable. We usually run about 26 miles an hour out to the fishing grounds which are located about 10 miles from the jetty ride is usually really smooth but waves have to be under 2 feet.. multiple different species but our main target fish is red snapper when we catch a red snapper usually come pretty quick we will troll and target some other species on the way in.

On this trip we will troll out the jetty targeting fast swimming pelagic species. Once we get to the reef we will be bottom fishing for reef species that include, red snapper, grouper, triggerfish, and any other species we can catch on the reef. This is a great trip to get your family on the water and experience the beautiful waters off of South Padre Island.

Josh was so personable not only that but here’s been a local so long he knows all the good spots. Today we went for snapper then trolled for bigger fish. Although we caught A TON of snapper none of them were legal but Josh KEPT trying. You can absolutely tell Josh is passionate about his job and more importantly wants the customers to enjoy their trip!!!
