Dunedin King Mackerel (Kingfish) Fishing Charters

This trip includes offshore fishing some 20-30 miles out, so expect to encounter Sharks, Hogfish, Mahi Mahi, Amberjacks, Groupers, Snappers, and other species. Bait, tackle, and gear are included, so don't forget your polarized sunglasses.

The 4-hour offshore trip takes you up to 15 miles offshore, offering plenty of action throughout the day. You’ll target a variety of species including smaller Grouper, Key West grunt, and Porgy, with excellent King mackerel (kingfish) bites during the spring and fall months. This trip is also a great option for kids and anglers of all skill levels.

Four hours is more than enough time to land some great fish. This is a great opportunity for families with kids to get out on the water and have some fun while trying to catch yourself some lunch for later! You'll target Redfish, Snook, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Mangrove Snapper, Black Seabass, and more! Rods, reels, bait, and fishing licenses are covered in the price. The captain will also supply snacks and water. Just come 15 minutes before your trip and get ready for an unforgettable adventure!

On the 6hr. Nearshore trip we will focus on fishing our wrecks, reefs, and ledges off the beautiful beaches of Clearwater area, and out to 25 miles (weather and seas permitting). Depending on the time of year, we will be catching King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Amberjack, Mangrove Snapper, Groupers, Hogfish, and Triple Tail. This is mostly bottom fishing with medium to heavy gear. If you are wanting something a big stronger and bigger to pull on your line, this trip would be a good start.

Fish inshore or nearshore. Your main targets for the day are Redfish, Snook, Trout, but the possibilities are endless. Decide to go nearshore, you can fill the cooler with fresh catch. The captain will provide all the rods, tackle, bait, ice, waters, as well as fishing licenses.

4-hour trips typically include 3+ hours of fishing, depending on the time of year and weather conditions. We can fish nearshore (up to 9 miles out), focusing on bottom fishing or trolling. Inshore options—such as beaches, flats, and mangrove shorelines—are also a great experience. When the weather isn’t ideal, dock and structure fishing is another excellent alternative.
