Oyster Creek King Mackerel (Kingfish) Fishing Charters

You will head out up to nine miles on this trip. You will fish the rigs and wrecks within this distance. Expect to hook some monster Bull Drum as well as some pelagic species such as Ling and Kingfish. There is no better feeling than that thrill when a huge King takes the bait! Remember your sunscreen, snacks, and plenty of water! Please check with the captain if there is an extra fuel surcharge for offshore trips.

Fishing out of Freeport, Texas, we will fish offshore for Bull Red, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Shark, Sheepshead, Ling and more. A trip for up to 6 people. No fuel surcharge! The trip departs at 1:00 p.m. You will fish state waters for what is biting, which could be Red Drum (trophy Bull Redfish), Shark, King and Spanish Mackerel, and Cobia (Ling). You will make many stops but stay within the Texas state water boundaries.

This is our deep sea trip. We will take you out from 20 to 40 miles offshore.

This trip is a great option if you want just a little more time then our 8 hour trip offers. The extra time could help yeild other species and more fish to help fill your cooler a little more. Possible species include Snapper, King Mackerel, Cobia, Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo, and others. Certin species are subject to seasons and migratory patterns.

Trip targets deep drop swordfish in 1,500 ft or more. Also targets sow red snapper, amber jack, tuna, wahoo, grouper and other deep water fishes that we pursue on our 12 hr trip. NOTE: Trip requires good conditions and a fast ride to reach the sword waters. Limited to 4 passengers and, if conditions are not satisfactory, we will substitute our 12 hr trip at the 12 hr rates. Runs from dawn to dusk.

This is an offshore experiance! Lets go catching!

Embark on a fantastic near shore fishing adventure departing from Galveston! This trip, bait included, takes about 40 min to reach our first site. We’ll troll a few lines on the way to the Vancouver Liberty Ship and Reefs off Freeport as well as some other, sunk wrecks, reefs and rigs along the way. This is excellent trip to get feet wet for offshore trips. Spend at least 4-6 hours fishing on-sites, then enjoy a swift return via the Freeport to ICW back to Galveston Yacht Marina. Fuel will be $100.
