Had an unforgettable fishing trip with an absolutely top-notch captain who knew exactly where to take us. The four of us were reeling in fish all day and couldn’t stop smiling. Captain Dave and 1st Mate, Matt, were outstanding. Knowledgeable, helpful and personable. There were 5 of us and we each caught at least one striper. One was a 50-pounder. Hooked a couple sharks as a bonus, one of which we fought for 30 minutes.
We also did some bottom fishing and caught sea bass and flounder. Matt filleted some of the sea bass for the night’s dinner.
It was a great day, and we’ll definitely book with Spear-it next summer.

Our family had a wonderful day catching fish from start to finish. It was beautiful clean boat, experienced capt lumberg and his deck hand set us up to catch some great fish. We took home beautiful clean fish that were professionally cleaned and ready to cook. It was a great experience!

Chad is a great captain. He’s an expert fishermen, extremely knowledgeable about striped bass fishing, has brand new tackle, knows exactly where the fish hide at every tide, and he made sure we had an amazing day! Really nice and clean boat. Extremely passionate for fishing and it shows. Can’t wait to come back!
