Cancún Permit Fishing Charters

Spend the afternoon fishing around the Nichupte Lagoon, a 10-minute boat ride from Cancun's hotel district. Jacks, Ladyfish, Snook, Tarpon, Permit, Bonefish, and more. There's an additional dock fee of US$10 per person.

You will get a detailed explanation and training on how to safely spearfish before you get to the fishing area. The captain is always present to ensure your safety and the safety of others. You will be swimming out from the boat to the reef where you will free dive and snorkel for the fish. After the trip, the crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to bring home.

Join your experienced spearfishing guide for a memorable underwater adventure in the pristine Caribbean waters! You'll have everything you need on board, including the spearfishing and snorkeling equipment, and your guide will make sure you're safe at all times. Targeted species include Barracuda, King Mackerel, various Snapper species, and the list goes on. Make sure to come to the dock 30 minutes before departure for a safety briefing.

If you're hoping to target a specific species within the Nichupte Lagoon the 6-hour trip is the one for you! Go after Tarpon, Jacks, Sea Trout, Barracuda and Snapper year-round in this brackish reserve. If it's Bonefish or Permit you're after, head down between May and October. There are no motorized boats allowed in most areas of the reserve so the calm waters are ideal for sight casting. Spinning and fly gear await on board, as do soft drinks and bottled water. There's a US$10 dockage fee per person.

Spend the day at the bottom! The big boys love the wrecks and the reef.

Our guides will take you to a paradisiacal region of the Mexican Caribbean that includes Isla Blanca, Cayo Chacmochuk, Boca Iglesia, Cayo Cahum and Cayo Raton.

Fishing parallel to the coast, varying depths and techniques (trolling and bottom fishing) for four hours, can give you the opportunity to catch species such as grunt and snapper, sailfish, and wahoo, depending on the season. You can also opt to stop at a reef to snorkel in the warm Caribbean Sea. This excursion, which departs at 8:00 a.m.

Located at Isla Blanca Costa Mujeres north of Cancun, with an easy access to our Marina were our our fleet of boats are ready for daily departure to chase Fins at the flats. Year round Juvenile and baby Tarpon, Snook are the call of the day with a year round fishery. Focusing mostly on Tarpon and Permit but always carrying a backup rod for Snook and Bonefish.

Conveniently located on the Cancun hotel zone you don't have to travel far to get a world class inshore fishing experience. We fish inside the lagoon called the Nichupte Lagoon. We do not go out to the ocean so you'll be fishing in calm waters mostly close to the mangroves. The boat rides to the fishing grounds are short ~15 minutes so you'll get maximum fishing time. We fish for Baby Tarpon and Snook year round and in the summer months Bonefish and Permit as well. There are also plenty of other species!
