Ohio Rainbow Trout (Steelhead) Fishing Charters

MINIMUM 2 people walk on trips. The Walleye charter will be on the brand new fully loaded and insured Defiance Admiral . You may be grouped with 1-3 other people. Summer Walleye fishing in the Walleye capital of the world is very fun and exciting. All gear and bait is included. Your charter is a 5 hour trip from dock to dock. Women/ children are very welcome. You can be as hands on as you want to be. Setting lines, netting fish and much more. Fish cleaning is available for an additional fee.

We leave the dock around 530am.

Unlike all of our other trips, you will be out for the full day regardless of when we reach your limit. If you limit out on walleye, we can target steelhead or play catch and release looking for a trophy fish or maybe try your hand at cast/drift fishing.

Summertime offshore trolling for Steelhead. This trip can be extremely action-packed. Usually, the catch must be kept. The difficulty with this trip is having the right weather to make it offshore comfortably. Fall/winter time trips are nearshore in the harbors and rivers. Fishing can be a mixture of tactics from trolling, casting, and drifting. Also, it is always recommended to bring a waterproof jacket and pants. For weather and for wind and water spray. All tackle and bait are provided.

This trip is for clients that want a first-class multiday charter. This charter will be for two people that will be fishing for Trophy Walleye,Steelhead, on beautiful Lake Erie Everyone will be provided with a gourmet boxed lunch, soda, beer, and water. Everyone will also be given a performance T-Shirt from Strikemaster Charters. Your catch will be cleaned and bagged each day for you.

This trip lasts for 8 hours dock to dock or until you catch the limit, whichever comes first. All tackle and bait are provided. Just bring your license, lunch, and sunscreen, and be ready to have a great time! Bottled water provided, all other drinks must be provided by guests.

Steelhead fishing in Ashtabula or Conneaut harbor. In the fall steelhead congregate in the harbors in preparation of making their spawning run. We will fish around the harbor either trolling or casting depending on conditions, the best bite and clients preference targeting hard fighting, high flying steelhead. Fish average 3-6lbs with 10+lb fish possible.

Join Strikemaster Charters and target Steelhead and Walleye up to 10-15 miles offshore. Steelhead are one of the strongest fighting fish in Lake Erie. These fish can jump 5-6 feet out of the water, go back down and peel drag off again. This is an awesome trip out on the water, fighting the mighty Steelhead. As the water temperatures start to drop the fish start to move closer (October) to shore and stage near the rivers. This is also a great time to catch trophy Steelhead and Walleye!
