Gold Beach Rainbow Trout (Steelhead) Fishing Charters

This is a private charter. Your group gets the boat to yourselves, unlike many charters that sell seats on a crowded boat with unvetted strangers. For this reason, our charters may be a bit more expensive than other non-private charters.

You will be fishing for Kings and Coho Salmon with all the necessary equipment provided.

Spend 2 days in the amazing wilderness of the Rogue River Canyon and fish for Chinook and Coho Salmon, as well as big Steelhead. Your guide will take care of everything – the fishing gear, boat, lodging, and food. Bring your Oregon fishing license and tag, warm clothing, and get ready to enjoy excellent fishing.

8 hours of fishing down the Rogue River targeting Chinook and Steelhead. Locations vary depending on the weather and the time of the year. We will go where the fish are.

From December-march we will be targeting steelhead here on the southern Oregon coast. Weather this time of year is very temperamental so be sure too bring warm clothing and adequate rain gear. Steelhead trips include side drifting, bobber fishing and pulling plugs for these coastal chrome steelhead. These fish pull hard jump like crazy and just flat out tear you up. We will be targeting summer/fall chinook salmon in Gold Beach, Oregon

Starting January 1, we start chasing steelhead in the Chetco and Rogue River. These trips usually will go into Mid March before we switch over to Spring Salmon. These trips can be in a drift boat or guide sled depending on location.
