This is a specialized trip for those looking for a bit more adventure! On this trip we take you to the mid-lake reef, located approximately 18 miles offshore. This trip targets high jumping, hard fighting rainbow trout and coho salmon. The best fishing on the reef is during the warmer months of July and August, when the lake water usually warms up closer to shore, sending these two species further offshore. Because this is a specialized trip, we advise calling before booking.

Up to 6 people are welcome aboard, first thing in the morning, to experience the incredible fishing Lake Michigan has to offer. Get out on the productive waters and troll for the bite of a range of delicious Trout and Salmon. Spending 6 hours on the water will allow you plenty of time to reel in a boatful of these beauties, all the while engaging in thrilling fishing.

The 6 HR (Half-Day) Charter is the perfect trip to book if you are looking to sneak away and get out on the lake and beat the weekend rush. This charter is priced for (1-4) people and is available Monday-Thursday.

Have loads of fun fishing Lake Michigan for 8 hours or until you reach the limit! This is a good choice later in the season. Typically, we are running 6 to 12 miles out to find fish. This travel time will cut down on fishing time.

This is a private fishing charter for a group for a max of 4 anglers who want to embark on a late afternnom fishing 5 Hour Private Fishing Charter. The trip is only from Mid-July through Mid-August.

I am Captain Jim Stepp of Jawzon Fishing Charters. I fish a few select tournaments throughout the fishing season and will include you on our team for the day. You will be fishing with Captain Jim's team and be part of what it takes to win. Your responsibilities will include, reeling and strategizing with the team to bring home the trophy! Late May-August: mainly coho and chinook salmon. Trips for mid-day salmon begin ~11am. While the hottest king salmon bite usually is early morning or late evening, there is often great mid-day action especially for coho!
