Excellent trip

Captain Al put us on the fish! Reeling in 10lb rockfish from 400 - 500 foot of water will test you physically and mentally and that’s exactly what happened. Great equipment and a great and knowledgeable attitude made the trip worthwhile. Will definitely call him up if I’m ever out San Diego way! 5 stars

Great captain who cares about putting you on fish
5/5
Brian was great and worked hard to put us on fish. Trolling, Chasing bait balls, working jigs and dropping baits on the bottom, nothing was off limits to get fish in the boat. We nailed the grouper and rockfish. Tried for yellowtail too, but it wasn’t meant to be. Brian even stayed out extra time trying to get a yellowtail. He is very knowledgeable and truly loves his craft. I will definitely hire him again.

Fun fishing trip

Al I a great captain. He knew where to take us to have success. He has a great little that gets you to the fish fast! The only unfortunate part of the trip was that we were unable to keep the rockfish we caught. We did catch bass and a few Cabezons which we were able to keep.

Half day trip with Cpt Brian

We had a great day out! We did a half day with my wife and two kids (11&9) and we had a great time! We caught a few rockfish and 2 Mahi Mahi. He took the time and persistence to make sure we were getting out of the trip what we wanted. He also was just a friendly presence. There is no bathroom on the boat, so we had the girls just come prepared for that haha

I’ve taken several fishing trips with Al now. I’ve always had a GREAT time. Inshore I’ve caught halibut, Spotted bay bass, Sand bass, calico bass, and corvina. Offshore I’ve caught yellowtail, tuna, dorado, rockfish, bass and barracuda. I’m sure I have forgotten some species. I’ll definitely be fishing with him again. Al has a lot of information to share and I’m always picking up some new tips and tricks from him.
