Upper Keys Sailfish Fishing Charters

During this trip, you will be fishing for a variety of fish depending ion the time of year. The crew has many hot fishing grounds. In the summer months we will target Mahi, Black Fin Tuna, Sailfish, Marlin, Wahoo as well as many types of Snappers and Groupers. Winter months we will target pretty much the same as summer but more on the sailfish, King Mackerel, Cero mackerel, Wahoo, etc. Depending on the time of year will be fishing anywhere from the patches to offshore in 1000 plus feet of water.

10 hour offshore trip with plenty of time for multiple types of fishing

The most popular trip on this charter. You will head off up to 20 miles offshore in search of pelagic predators. You can target Sailfish, Blue Marlins, Swordfish, Wahoos, Kingfish, Blackfin Tunas, and whatever else you run into.

This will be a full 8-hour trip on the Spring Mix II. You'll leave the dock at 7:00 a.m. and search for Sailfish, Blackfin Tuna, Dolphin, as well as bottom dwellers like Amberjack, Mutton Snapper, and Red Snapper. You will also chase tasty species like Cobia, Yellowtail Snapper, and many more. The customary tip for the first mate is 20% of the price.

3/4 day Tarpon fishing. Tarpon are a warm weather fish. May being the peak of season. We catch them for months but the weather is key!

This trip is specifically targeting mahi/tuna there will also be time to fish the reef for snapper and other species as well.

Winter months are the best for Sailfish, usually November through March. Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, or Kingfish are also possible to encounter. You start fishing just off the reef edge, some 3-7 miles from the marina. Then, you and the crew will look for color changes along the Keys coastline, from 20' to 190' of water. Sailfish usually jumps multiple times and swims up to 65 mph. To reel them in, you can troll live bait, kite fish, and sight fish. Light tackle will allow you a great fight.

This trip offers the best of both worlds. We'll start out blue water trolling for Mahi, Grouper and Sailfish and end the trip fishing on the patch reef for Snapper, Yellow Jack, and Grouper. This trip creates the best opportunity to maximize your catch and you will experience two completely different types of fishing. All fishing equipment is included in the price, as well as your licenses. Please note that in case you're paying your remaining balance with a credit card there is a $25 fee
