We had a great time fishing with Gintas! He is knowledgeable and entertaining. I was impressed by how well organized and clean he kept his boat. We caught some really big lake trout and a Coho salmon this trip. We definitely will recommend him to friends and family who visit Chicago.

Captain Steve said it was a slow day, but he did everything he could to make sure we caught some fish. In the end, we left with 14—mostly Coho salmon—and even landed a King salmon.
It was a great time, and Captain Steve was incredibly friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great fishing trip.

It was nuts, the weather was pretty bad the night before and the fish were biting like crazy the morning we went out. With 6 of us, 5 fish each is the limit. One of us caught about a 15 pounder. Lots of coho salmon, rainbow trout, king salmon, and lake trout. I've never caught fish this big or this many in my life. They even sliced and bagged us up 6 big bags full of fillets! Right on the boat!

Captain James is a skilled fishing guide as well a gem of a human being. He is incredibly kind, respectful, and knowledgable (with a healthy dose of classic fishing humor) and facilitated a fishing experience beyond our wildest dreams. We caught so many coho salmon and lake trout (as well as a nice king salmon!) that we had to run and buy bigger coolers immediately after the trip. I can’t recommend a fishing trip with him enough and wish him all the best. Until next time, Tight lines!

Jim is the perfect Captain! Super friendly, knowledgeable, and will work hard to get you that amazing catch!! We fished for salmon and trout, and even brought home several trophy fish! Thank you Jim!!! By the way, the smoked Coho salmon was to die for! We’ll be back!
