Fairhaven Thresher Shark Fishing Charters

Travel 25 miles off the shore and target Mako, Thresher, Porbeagle, and Blue Shark. All the bait and tackle are included in the trip, so just make sure to bring your favorite snacks and drinks. The trip starts at 5:30 a.m. and lasts for 8 hours. As always, veterans will get a discount. A $700 deposit is required to Strike 2 Fishing Charters within 24 hours of booking. You will receive a call from the staff.

This trip brings you the ultimate angling experience. Starting at 6:00 a.m., you and the captain will loads of fun chasing Tuna and/or Shark for 10 hours. As with all other trips, the captain will supply you with all the gear as well as licenses, so you should only bring some snacks and drinks. (4 people max)

Most is tag and reales, and as part of this you will get to name the shark when we send in the tagging information. On this land based shark fishing charter, we target large pelagic sharks in Maine such as mako sharks / blue sharks / thresher sharks, and sometimes we catch great whites as by-catch. Bring beach chairs / food / drinks / bug spray if you want.

On the Full Day Offshore trip we target giant Bluefin tuna using live bait. These fish start to show up in mid to late June and leave towards the end of November. You'll head some 25 to 30 miles off the coast in pursuit of these beasts. We have access to an amazing fishery, which makes the percentage of scoring a giant very high. It is certainly a must-see.
