These waters are known for Flounder, Redfish, Red Snapper, Black Drum, Freshwater Drum, and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. You’ll target your catch by drifting, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Cecil can also take you Flounder gigging. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.

Capt Josh’s Offshore Charters is located in Port Isabel and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. Capt. Josh is ready for the 2023 season with a freshly restored catamaran, equipped with the latest electronics and outfitted with over $6,000 worth of brand-new top-of-the-line Shimano Tiagra reels to help you reel in the fish of a lifetime!

You’ll fish on a restored 30’ center console powered by twin 300 HP Mercury Verado engines. It’s got a full onboard navigation system and can accommodate up to 6 guests. It features a private toilet and an ice-box and is rigged with spearfishing and snorkeling equipment and a livewell. For an even better fishing experience, a first mate will be present on board.
