Islamorada Swordfish Fishing Charters

Spending an entire day fishing the bountiful waters off the coast of Florida may sound like a dream, but it's reality! You'll go after Sailfish, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Kingfish, Barracuda, and whatever else takes the bait. You will head out between 3 and 40 miles offshore. Note: 20% tip payable to the captain after the trip.

Head 10-30 offshore in search of big game species like Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and more. This is a real sportfishing adventure, so climb aboard and catch some huge fish!

This is a trip for both beginners and seasoned anglers. We typically start the day off getting some fresh or live baits on the way out. The reefs here are close, so your fishing time is maximized. We can typically target Grouper, Yellowtail Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Vermillion Snapper and several other species. If you are looking for a beast to catch, we can get you hooked into Goliath Grouper, Sharks, and Greater Amberjack up to 100 lbs.

Get ready to put your arms and legs to work as you battle some incredible species, including Swordfish, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, and many more! Fishing tackle and license are included, so just be sure to bring some snacks and drinks, along with sunscreen, a hat, and a pair of sunglasses, and prepare for a fun day out on some of the bluest waters you've ever seen!

This trip is for targeting all kinds of nearshore and offshore species, such as Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Grouper, Snapper, and more. Your fishing licenses, equipment, and catch cleaning are included in the price. A 20% gratuity surcharge is greatly appreciated for our First Mate!

Swordfish fishing is all year long. We have found that spring thru fall is best because of calmer weather. We fish the gulfstream and wind against current can make for a very uncomfortable day. Calm days are recommended for this challenge. The swordfish charters fish anywhere from 25 – 45 miles off of Islamorada, in **hidden content**' of water. We use both standard conventional reel as well as electric assist reels. Pack plenty of patience for this unique trip.

Fishing along the outer reef, 4 miles out we catch: sailfish (once 8 sails in 1/2 day), tuna, kingfish, cero mackerel, wahoo, cobia, and even a mahi while trolling with live bait. We stop over wrecks or deep reefs and catch: big snapper, grouper, jacks, cobia, or sharks on the bottom, while still fishing live baits on the surface for sailfish, etc. Many times while fighting a fish off a wreck, we'll hook a sailfish on top. Take a nice bag of fish home, and enough to take to one of our great restaurants!

The full day will take you out on the trip of your life. We'll go out for species ranging from Mahi-Mahi, Mutton Snappers, Grouper, Yellowtail, Mangrove Snappers, and so on. The Florida keys are our backyard, and we know where to take you. The boat will be a 42ft Cabo with all the comforts of home, air conditioning, bathrooms, and an ice machine. We'll also supply drinks & food at a minimal cost. There'll be a captain and a mate. Tips of 20% combined are required.
