Every year starting in May and ending in August, large schools of Tarpon ranging from 50lbs - over 200lbs migrate up our coast along the beautiful beaches of Siesta Key, Lido Key, Longboat Key and Anna Maria. Captain James has been targeting these highflying fish for over 15 years in Sarasota and would love to put you on a fish of a lifetime.

Tarpon fishing is seasonal and has to be booked accordingly. Tarpon trips are also the only trips that I will move around the schedule. Timewise to fish a good tide. My maximum tarpon trip is 8 hours.

This charter is dedicated toward chasing tarpon and is specific to tarpon fishing. These are the trophy fish of a lifetime that we get a few months of the year that we get to target. The start time due to this type of fishing may vary as these fish can be very tide dependent.
