South Carolina Tarpon Fishing Charters

The summer in St. Bernard usually brings plenty of Redfish and sharks, while the colder months see the appearance of Trout, Flounder, as well as Redfish. Occasionally, there might even be Tarpon to catch.

Experienced anglers seeking a specific trophy fish. You'll fish nearshore reefs or drop-offs, usually with live bait. May-June is good for king mackerel, while from July to September you can chase tarpon. This trip is very weather dependent. The captain recommends contacting him before booking. Another option would be fishing “backcountry” around other islands in the area. Several spots could be fished for inshore species.

This trip is custom-tailored to the clients' needs. You and the captain can do everything from inshore fishing to poking offshore to fishing some of the man-made reefs and wrecks. Offshore trips are weather dependent and limited to 4 people.

Work the full tide cycle! This trip is 8 hours long and works the full tide cycle through High and Low. We’ll work numerous different areas and target various species with different techniques to fulfill the day. Please note that departure times are tide-based and can change daily. Seasonal lunch and dinner cruise options are available via Boatbooker or the Boatbooker website.

Departing adjacent to the historic port city of Georgetown waterfront (the third oldest in SC.), clients will spend the next 5 hours not only fishing the expansive inshore waters of this area for Redfish, Flounder, Spotted Sea Trout, Bluefish, and other seasonal species including Sharks and Tarpon, but you'll be in and amongst the most naturally scenic estuary system along the upper South Carolina coast. For those that are history buffs, ask Captain Greg to "show and tell" some of those spots too!

Fishing Charleston, only target Red Drum, Exclusively Tarpon fish, Fish half day/ cruise half day, shark tooth hunt and fish, Exclusively troll all day (inshore/inlet/nearshore), or catch and cook.

This is a 8 hour trip includes 20 - 30 miles offshore artifical wrecks and reefs. Bottom Fishing/ Trolling Boat includes a bathroom and can provide air conditioning inside cabin on request. Video games for the kids or adults just incase the fish don’t cooperate. Microwave and Cooktop Stove available upon request.
