South Carolina Tarpon Fishing Charters

The summer in St. Bernard usually brings plenty of Redfish and sharks, while the colder months see the appearance of Trout, Flounder, as well as Redfish. Occasionally, there might even be Tarpon to catch.

Experienced anglers seeking a specific trophy fish. You'll fish nearshore reefs or drop-offs, usually with live bait. May-June is good for king mackerel, while from July to September you can chase tarpon. This trip is very weather dependent. The captain recommends contacting him before booking. Another option would be fishing “backcountry” around other islands in the area. Several spots could be fished for inshore species.

No need to worry about running out of time. This trip allows for us to explore many options to try multiple styles, locations, and species. Here in the beautiful waters of Hilton Head surrounding creeks, and, nearshore reefs, you can expect to see Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Flounder, Cobia, Tarpon, Spanish Mackerel, and Shark on your charter. All guided fishing charter rates include everything you need: fishing licenses, fishing gear, bait, tackle, a cooler, and ice.

This trip is custom-tailored to the clients' needs. You and the captain can do everything from inshore fishing to poking offshore to fishing some of the man-made reefs and wrecks. Offshore trips are weather dependent and limited to 4 people.

Departing adjacent to the historic port city of Georgetown waterfront (the third oldest in SC.), clients will spend the next 5 hours not only fishing the expansive inshore waters of this area for Redfish, Flounder, Spotted Sea Trout, Bluefish, and other seasonal species including Sharks and Tarpon, but you'll be in and amongst the most naturally scenic estuary system along the upper South Carolina coast.
