Myrtle Beach Tarpon Fishing Charters

Come stalk Redfish on the beautiful flats of Winyah Bay or hit the water for the fall run of the Bull Redfish, when 30 lb fish are an everyday sight. Many of South Carolina's inshore species are also in the cards, including Tarpon, Flounder, Speckled Trout, and much more. Bear in mind morning departure times may be altered to later times due to the captain's fire department work schedule, he'll make sure to get in touch with you in advance if this is the case.

On half day morning trips, your group and Captain will leave the dock at 7:00 a.m. and return at 11:00 a.m. The captain takes care of all the gear, so bring nothing but your snacks and drinks and prepare for a fun time on the water.

Our four hour trip provides some five star inshore fishing!

On this 5-hour inshore trip, you and Captain Wayne will target Redfish, Flounder, and Trout mostly. All the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, lures, licenses, as well as fish cleaning and filleting are included in the price. The trip starts at 7:00 a.m.

Tarpon is truly becoming my favorite species of fish. They're tough, big, and every time is different. Every time you hook one, your heart will literally jump out of your chest. They are called the Silver King for a reason. The average size of Tarpon that frequent South Carolina is 80 to 100 lb. They leave anglers with memories that last a lifetime. Tarpon migrates along the South Carolina coast from late May to October; therefore, this trip is seasonal. Four people max!

Primary target is the tarpon. Its a tough bite but a huge adrenaline rush if we can hook up. These trips are best suited for seasoned anglers. Bring patience and a positive attitude . Fish a vast area to include Winyah Bay, North and South Santee Bays, Sampit River, Georgetown Jetties and north Inlet. Using various methods to include artificials. live bait. bottom fishing and trolling, you will have the opportunity to catch red drum, speckled trout, flounder, mackerel, sheepshead and sharks.

You decide the start time… morning or afternoon. I'll adjust and narrow our start time to ensure we get to our fishing grounds when the tide is perfect for catching our trophy. A five-hour half-day allows time to get to our fish. I'll always have bait on board but we may stop and net some 'liveys' on the way to our spot. Fresh, frisky bait on the perfect tide gives us our best chance of multiple bites so everyone on board gets their chance at that 'fish of a lifetime'.

Four-hour trips are great to get on the water either early morning or late afternoon, you still have the day to enjoy all the other great activities with your family and friends.
