Long Island Tautog Fishing Charters

Embark on an unforgettable fishing adventure with Hudson Fishing Charters! Join Captain Mike for an exciting day on the Long Island Sound. Step aboard Bimini Twist, a 40-foot Jersey Sportfish with A/C, a spacious deck, and modern amenities. Fish for Bluefish, Striped Bass, Blackfish (Tautog), Black Sea Bass, Flounder, and Porgies (seasonal). Trips include premium gear and licenses. Bring food, drinks, sunscreen, and layers. This trip will take you further out than the 5-hour one and you can go after a wide range of species. Your captain will provide all the gear, lures, and bait you need for a successful trip. Pack enough drinks and snacks to keep you going and you're all set! Later departure times are available upon request.

Benefit from 50 years fishing Jamaica bay & Raritan Bay. Light tackle sight casting artificial and live bait for trophy Striped Bass. You will be actively fishing/no trolling on this boat. Be prepared for action.

Typically fish the midshore areas, stay within 50 miles of shore.

This is a private charter for up to 20 people. Boat leave dock at 7 am returns at 3pm. Tip for mates not included in charter price

Striper fishing will include trolling, live baiting or jigging depending on the bite. The south shore of long island gets an unbelievable spring and fall migration of Striped Bass. Truley somthing eveyone should experience in their lifetime. The benifit to booking the longer trip for Striped Bass allows us fish accordingly. Weather you want to catch them by jigging, top water or trolling. After catching the daily limit for dinner time we can then travel into deeper water targeting giant Bass pushing 50lbs
