Port Douglas Golden Trevally Fishing Charters

Get some mates together for a full day inshore fishing reefs, wrecks, and islands. You'll be targeting the likes of Trevally, Coral Trout, Mackerel, Cobia and more. The captain will provide all the fishing equipment, just bring some sunscreen, and come enjoy your day in these productive fishing grounds!

This is a private charter for up to 6 people - live bait fishing. From 11:30am to 4pm. We supply all the rods & reels, all bait & tackle, bottles of water and you will be guided by our experienced fishing guide. Common estuary fish species but not limited to Javelinfish, Fingermark, Blue & King Threadfin Queenfish, Trevally species, Mangrove jack, Estuary cod species, Bream, Flathead, Hairtail and the prize catch...Barramundi (Fish species are seasonal)

Explore some of the areas many mangrove-lined river and estuary systems. Have your expert guide will decide on the best target for the day, taking into account the weather and tides and get after your next prize catch. The guides specialize in targeting Barramundi but this is far from your only option in this rich fishery. In order to ensure a personalized experience, this trip is for a maximum of 2 guests.

A maximum of 8 guests. Minimum age 12yo. All equipment, tackle, and bait are supplied. Experienced skipper/owner with 30 years local experience. Departing Port Douglas at 7.30am and returning at 1.30pm. Catch is bled and bagged whole. CONDITIONS # Shared charters are to be paid in full by 3 days before departure date. # The operator reserves the right to transfer the trip to calm water options, including estuary, in the event weather conditions prevent accessing the coastal reefs.

This is a full-day outer reef and wonky hole adventure you can catch big Largemouth Nannygai, Coral Trout, Cobia, Red Emperor, Mackerel, Giant Trevally, and much much more. We can personally tailor your day to suit whatever you want to target.This adventure is limited to 4pax we do charge a 10 percent surcharge on public holidays and do charge $9.00 per person extra when entering the marine park (Please note as of march 27 2026 we will be adding a temporary 10 percent fuel levy to all tours )

A great 6hr estuary fishing event where we target barramundi (in season) mangrove jacks ,fingermark ,salmon ,brim and grunter ,around the cairns inlet thats alive with birdlife and a mangrove system backdrop that will leave you spell bound.We do charge 10 percent extra for public holidays .(Please note as of march 27 2026 we will be adding a temporary 10 percent fuel levy to all tours .This will remain in place until fuel prices settle back down )

A maximum of 8 guests with minimum age of 12. All equipment, tackle, and bait are supplied. Experienced skipper/owner with 30 years of local experience. Departing Yorkeys Knob Marina (Cairns northern beaches) at 7.30 a.m. and returning at 3.30 p.m. Catch is bled and bagged.

We'll pick you up at 7am from your accommodation in Port Douglas or meet a nearby ramp. We will fish the coastal flats and local rivers for Barramundi and Mangrove Jack. These trips are Lure or fly fishing only and catch and release. Snacks, drinks and use of all gear is included for the trip.
